Pusillin and the Elder Azj'Tordin

Travel to Dire Maul and locate the Imp, Pusillin. Convince Pusillin to give you Azj'Tordin's Book of Incantations through any means necessary.

Return to Azj'Tordin at the Lariss Pavilion in Feralas should you recover the Book of Incantations.

Description

I had let my guard down for only one moment, stranger. In my haste to escape the grip of the fallen Prince, I was robbed. A most foul demon, the imp Pusillin, pilfered my book of incantations and the key to the once great halls of Eldre'Thalas.

I no longer hold interest in the key, as I have exchanged my immortality for freedom, but I desperately need my book of incantations.

Find the imp, Pusillin, and recover my book.

Search the Warpwood Quarter of Dire Maul for Pusillin.

Progress

You can get the key from pusillin without this quest, you only need to chase him down.

I just did it as well, and it most definitely DID count for Loremaster of Kalimdor.

He is in DM east BTW. When you enter the instance, you go to your left all the way to the end of the ledge. You will see a small imp. That is Pusillin, so talk to him and follow him up until he changes to a hostile mob.

Dire Maul is in central Feralas... you can enter the general area at about 59, 52.

This quest yields 500 (550 for human) Shen'dralar reputation. It saves you 1 Pristine Black Diamond, 2 Large Brilliant Shards and Libram. That assumes you are one of those crazy guys going for Insane/Exalted title :)

To get this quest, head to DM East. Immediately go right and follow the patch. Turn right at ""T"" and move straight forward. Leave instance and go upstairs, there you'll Azj'Tordin.

One thing that should be noted, so as ya don't get surprised the little freak moves pretty damned fast, however he does stop a few times. When he does stop it'll give you plenty of time to catch up, talk to him, and then he hauls A** some more stops again, talk to him and off to the races. He does this 3 or 4 times before coming to his final stop point. Allerra's map above is a good one if ya some how lose him.

Also clear his route first,. I didn't clear, thinking a LvL 80 Hunter running solo could skirt past the mobs easy peasy like, until I was jumped by all those non elite lashers that swarm. No death but a pain in the neck, it seems like they keep coming and coming.....volley can be a hunters best friend. LOL
