the trinket may not be worth the effort anymore, but for players that want to be exalted with as many factions as possible &amp; want to do all quests that are in the game 50g is pocketchange now that we can do 25 dailies per day

This book starts a warlock quest rewarding a class-specific trinket, the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18467"">Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas. A class book can randomly drop from any boss in https://vanillawowdb.com/?zone=2557"">Dire Maul or can be contained in the https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=179547"">Dusty Tome at the end of Dire Maul North.

Upon accepting the quest, https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7502"">Harnessing Shadows, players must return the book to Shen'dralar https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14382"">Lorekeeper Mykos, located in the Athenaeum of Dire Maul. The Athanaeum is an underground library that is most easily accessed via Dire Maul North, though can be reached at the end of Dire Maul West, as well. Both paths will require the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18249"">Crescent Key to enter.

its a lil' extra boost in fire resist for the Leo fight in SSC. Price has bottomed out and quest is easy to solo for pvp geared/specced lock.

The quest marker is located in Dalaran Crater for some reason. Anyone know why?

I've had this quest in the bank for ages and have accepted and then abandoned it several times, any way, today I decided to finally go for it and finish the quest, not for the reward(s) since I'm a lvl 85 lock by now but just cuz I held on to it for so long I just hd to complete it.

So, when I checked here on where to go for the quest I find out it's marked obsolete and you can't finish it any more, ok, no biggy, I've been putting it off for so long that it didn't really surprise me it was marked obsolete, but why can I still accept a quest that can't be completed any more, or even still have the object that starts it?

Isn't that a bit sloppy and shouldn't Blizz just take these quests out of the game completely?
Can any one explain to me why Blizz keeps so many of these objects that start unfinishable (is that even a valid word?) quests in game?

100% this quest is still doable as of 5/14/2012. I just turned mine in to Lorekeeper Mykos he is located in dire maul Athenaeum, the off shoot passage from Prison of Immol'Thar . The quest pays 550 rep with the shen'dralar gives 1 guild rep (without special guild tabards) 87 silver and the item royal seal eldre'thalas at lvl 85. {As stated above}. Also the quest was buggy for me I had to reaccept the quest every time I phased into an area.
