Lorekeeper Javon can be found in the Dire Maul Library. This can be reached via the Dire Maul North entrance.

This Book is for your Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18470 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18470

To obtain this book, it can be found from numerous bosses in dire maul who drop it, or, from the Auction house as some people like to sell these. Obtaining the actual trinket is actually quite simple for a druid. All you need is your crescent key, https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18249 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=18249 from the Imp in Dire maul east wing.

The best way to get this book is to enter the north dire maul instance. Once inside, go into cat form and stealth, walk left and go down the slope where you will see wandering dogs, and the ogre boss. Stay away from the dogs, they can see you in stealth. Now, when you get to the bottom, stealth left and you will see a locked door, this is where you can enter with your crescent key. Once inside follow the hallway to a room and you will see elven NPC's. The quest npc you seek is in this room and you can talk to him to complete. Congrats you have your trinket!

I just turned 54 on my druid and i was able to get the quest "" The Emerald Dream... ""

in my quest log it says:

""The Emerald Dream in Shattrath City (59, 60)
Return the book to its rightful owners.

The tome carries the mark of the Athenaeum""

wtf does that mean? there is no one here to return it to here

Alright, as I had a horrible time finding the library to turn in the quest, here's a breakdown of how to find it/get there:
1. Enter Dire Maul, and go into the main courtyard where the PVP arena is located (don't go in it, though).
2. Go to the North Side of the courtyard, or, directly on the other side of the arena from where you entered. There is a door that requires the Crescent Key.
3. Once inside, you will see another courtyard below you. There is a steep ramp only slightly to the left. There are a LOT of dogs down there, so be careful if you're low level. Go down the ramp and to the left. (If you go through a big archway and see only a couple dogs, you went too far. Like me...lol)
4. There is a bluish doorway on the left. Go in.
5. The doorway leads into a very, very long hallway. There are no bad guys in here so feel free to pop Aspect of the Cheetah or Dash, etc.
6. The hallway ends in the Athenaeum (The Library!). Go inside and to the right. On the right and just before the large bronze globe you will find Lorekeeper Javon.
7. Turn in your quest and celebrate! :)

This quest still gives 500 reputation with Shen'dalar faction after path 4.0.3a. I guess this is the ONLY way to get that rep now :)

Well.... This was an odd one. I had the book in my inventory for who knows how long, but I knew Bliz was obsoleting the class specific quests. But hey, the book was in my bags, with the tantalizing exclamation point on it.....

Here's how it worked.... The item still offered the quest. I would accept it. Every time I zoned in somewhere, or logged in or out, the quest would disappear from my quest log, but the item would still ""have the quest"" so I would just accept it again. Found Lorekeeper Javon. Clicked on the book to re-accept the quest ... AGAIN ... and voila! He had a question mark over his head! I turned it in, and received my Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas. Even managed to get the achievement for Five Dungeon Quests Completed at the same time!

Even though my druid is actually 67 now, and the trinket itself is kinda useless, I'm glad I was able to do it. I'm bummed I missed the Eye of Divinity one for my priest. Still carrying that item around on her. Guess it's time to just delete it. :(
