Slay 15 Dark Iron Taskmasters and 15 Dark Iron Slavers. Return to Taskmaster Scrange in the Searing Gorge once you have accomplished this task.

Description

Taskmaster Scrange is looking for a few good men and women to help 'cull the competition' in the Searing Gorge.

If you are interested in this position, venture out into the Searing Gorge and slaughter every Dark Iron Taskmaster and Dark Iron Slaver that you see.

Return to Taskmaster Scrange when your clothes are bloody enough.

You'll know when they're bloody enough so don't ask.

Also, you get: 2 10

These guys populate camps just southeast from Thorium Point and you can also find some inside the Cauldron.

After the Burning Crusade release, the Thorium Brotherhood Reputation gained from these 7 quests was increased to 250 a piece.

The Taskmasters mostly are in the camps southeast of Thorium Point, the Slavers spawn there sometimes but you will find them traveling in pairs down the slope into the cauldron. NOTE: If you run into any of the slaves working into the cauldron make sure you have a stun ready because they like to run and they run away FAST!

i ended up falling into the slag pit and there are lots of them down there

Patrols of random make ups (Slavers and Taskmasters) walk all over the Cauldron on the outside, so you don't need to go into the Slag to do this quest in there. Be careful if you do it around the slaves, as they will attack you if you attack a Dark Iron or if a Dark Iron attacks you.

If you plan on doing all the thorium point quests this one is best left until last. You'll be going deep into the slag pit and that's filled with slavers and taskmasters. I was able to finish this quest without even trying because the encounters were unavoidable.
