Perfect Yeti Hide

Bring the Perfect Yeti Hide to Jangdor Swiftstrider at Camp Mojache, Feralas.
Perfect Yeti Hide
Provided Item:
Perfect Yeti Hide

Description

You have found what may very well be a perfect yeti hide. You easily note that it is exceptionally thick and sturdy - more so than even the ones you've seen from the yeti in Rage Scar.

Considering that Jangdor Swiftstrider at Camp Mojache is in the market for yeti hides, this particular one may be of considerable interest to him.

Reward

Also, you get: 7

Progress

What's this, <name> - you've got something special for me?

Completion

This is an incredible find! I believe this is the finest yeti hide specimen I have ever seen!

Indeed, this is certainly worthy of an appropriate bounty. I normally don't pay that much for a single hide, but I'm confident I can make something special from it. Thanks for thinking of me on this, <name>!

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 44 experience (2 64 at max. level)
  • 250 Reputation with Thunder Bluff

I just turned in this quest, level 47 and recieved 7 silver and 250 Thunder bluff faction. No experience.

Was the first time turning it in.

I reported the issue to a GM and they would not tell me if this was intended or not.

It says it Requires level 42, but it's a pick up quest from an item that only requires level 40

I believe this had the exp removed because of the teleporation hack farmers were using to turn this in. It used to give 2200 iirc. This is similiar to why the hippogryphs' egg quest was removed.

While I can understand that this quest is an ""extra"", yielding a mere 7s and ZERO XP is beyond comprehensible. I could understand maybe a low reward if you could carry more than one hide and turn it in for +50 rep each additional time, but to make a separate trip is just ludicrous.

Only go for this quest if you're already killing the Yeti's. Otherwise, don't bother.

In addition to all the bad things already said about this quest: This quest does not count for Loremaster of Kalimdor.

No experience gain and doesnt count towards the kalimdor or overall quest achivement.
All you get is 250 TB rep, I've learned not to farm for it anymore, if it drops during the Improved quality quest is good, if not, so be it.
