Got this head a few nights ago, will turn it in soon to see who i have to give the head to considering Saurfang's hopped it over to northend now.

UPDATE: Thrall will now send you to Overlord Runthak.

its only logic that you give it to runthak because Saurfang would just end up vendoring the head

Saurfang would cleave the head in 2 and vend it twice.

it can take nearly 5 minutes for the head and the yell to appear after finishing this quest

If you have the head already, this quest DOES still exist in Cataclysm, at least in beta. The original turn-in is with Garrosh, not Thrall.
