Fairly straight forward quest. You might have better luck finding turtles out in the water, as the turtles on land tend to be camped to pieces. I have never figured out why so many level 60s love to kill those turtles...

BTW even if you don't fish, you still need to do this quest. The fishing rod sells for a good bit (can't remember specifics beyond 1+g).

I would say keep the rod, chances are you'll probably start fishing out of boredom! (and from the money you can make from fishing at 70!);D
