A person's imagination is an incredible thing. It can make the smallest hill seem like the largest mountain. It can make the most innocuous shadow appear cast by a horrible nightmare!

We at the Darkmoon Faire let our visitor's imaginations blossom! But to help stretch their imaginations... sometimes we have to get tricky.

I need vibrant plumes for one of my attractions. You can get them from the birds of the more dangerous areas of Azeroth. Bring me the plumes and many tickets will be yours!

Best place I have found to get the Vibrant Plumes is northern Feralas in the ravenwind ruins off the Bloodfury Harpy, Roguefeather, Windcallers and Slayers. Farmed about 20 in an hour

Rougefeather Den in Thousand Needles is also a good place not too many harpies tho but they respawn quick.

I've gotten 3 in a couple of minutes.

I found the best luck by farming them from the Sky Shadow in Deadwind Pass. That is my experience.

I agree that the Roguefeather cave in Thousand Needles is the best. As a lvl 70 I got 30 plumes in 45 minutes.

I have searched the ""new"" Darkmoon Fair and can find no way to turn in evil bat eyes, vibrant plumes, or any of the other items that used to be exchanged for tickets. They still show ""white"" in my bank but as they had no other purpose, should now be ""grey"".
(Love the new Darkmoon Fair, btw).

Since Darkmoon Faire is now on its own island zone, the following items are not used anymore and will probably end up vender trash soon.
