Description

"Your fortune awaits you inside the Deadmines."

The fortune Sayge handed you feels slightly warm to the touch. Grasping it firmly, you see an image of the Deadmines inside Westfall's ruined hamlet of Moonbrook. Focusing closer in on the image, you wind about twisty passages until you reach a shimmering portal... one that leads into the heart of the mines itself. Stepping through it, a strange chest appears out from nowhere.

A quick search of the chest reveals a lockbox from within it! It would seem that you have found your fortune!

Once you enter the instance...dont panic if you dont see it right away. It takes some time to spawn.

(dont expect any epics either.....just a bunch of junk lol...but you get 75 rep with Darkmoon Faire)

After visiting the fortuneteller multiple times throughout my WoW career, I finally got this quest!

Mine had 3 Khadgar's Whisker, 2 Sweet Nectar, and 1 Soft Banana Bread.

...and 75 Darkmoon Faire rep! =)

Anyone know if this quest is completable at a time when the Darkmoon Fair isn't open for business? Note: I think I might go test to see if I can or can't do it right now....

The chest spawns just around the corner from the instance portal. I ran half the instance before I realized something was wrong and doubled back, and there it was, waiting.

Just wanted to make sure; I know The Deadmines is in Alliance territory, but there is only one quest for Horde in this instance? Seems too easy.... =b

Just got this fortune for the first time. My Chest contained Blacksmith plans for Green Iron Shoulders, and a bunch of level 35 food (cheese and mushrooms) nothing to get excited over.

I looked in the begining of the dungeon, I've been in here for about 10 minutes now. I ran through the dungeon twice without leaving the instance. I think that this quest is as of now broken... or the box spawns in a new location.
I tried standing in the entrance of the Deadmines in hopes of it spawning on heroic... but sadly it looks like I don't get my rep today. :(
I also reset my dungeon and ran in and waited in the begining again... Nothing.
