Although you can continue giving the Dense Grinding Stones you stop gaining reputation after friendly. The only two ways of raising above friendly are:
  1. https://vanillawowdb.com/?search=deck Return a deck (350 rep / turn-in = about 112 decks)

To return Dense Grinding Stones for rep, complete quest Rituals of Strength until 2000+ of friendly, this one appears only after that, giving no further reputation.

Here's the macro.<div class=""quote"">/run SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1);CompleteQuest();GetQuestReward()You can change that ""1"" to another number depending on which quest in the menu it is down the list when you right click an NPC. Changing it to ""4"" will select the fourth quest the NPC is offering and so on. I just used it to confirm and it works great!

Can confirm that all of these old quests have been replaced by new profession related quests.
