Description

Lords of the Abyssal Council can only be summoned through the greater wind stones, and only the top ranking members of the Twilight's Council may speak to them. But... I have found a way to upgrade your disguise and fool the Abyssal Lords!

The disguise calls for a ring of lordship, worn only by the highest members of the cult. I will craft one for you if you can bring me large brilliant shards and abyssal signets.

There it is. Now you're ready.

Be sure to wear this ring, along with a medallion of station and the rest of the twilight trappings, when you activate a greater wind stone. Do that, and the Abyssal Council will think you one of their servants. Then, perhaps you can lure one into an ambush!

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 660 experience (39 60 at max. level)

Confirmed to count towards https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1680 Loremaster of Kalimdor (Horde). I can only assume it works for the https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1678 Alliance Version as well.

To get the signets, you need to kill Abyssal Dukes; to summon the Dukes at the Wind Stones, you need to wear the medallion from https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8332 Dukes of the Council/https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8333 Medallion of Station and one complete Twilight Cultist set (Cowl, Robe, and Mantle, dropped by mobs around the Wind Stones), all of which are consumed by summoning each Duke; to get each medallion, you need to get one https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=14344 Large Brilliant Shard and kill three Abyssal Templars; and to summon those at Lesser Wind Stones, you need another complete Twilight Cultist set.

So you need to get 12 Twilight Cultist sets and 8 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=14344 Large Brilliant Shards, summon at 9 Lesser Wind Stones, turn in 3x https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8333 Medallion of Station (wear the medallion), summon at three Wind Stones, and finally turn this in.

Just finished this chain yesterday, with a level 70 Prot Pally solo (Geared only in Cobalt Plate BTW), last boss was easy! Now must repeat the whole chain for A Humble Beginning :(

The non-repeatable version of this quests rewards 500 reputation, not 250.
