Description

I'll keep it simple and to the point, <class>. The Alliance needs to collect a large quantity of Arthas' Tears for the Ahn'Qiraj war effort. Don't ask me what for; I'm just following orders. But I'd like you to gather up as many of the herbs as you can and bring them back to me here. Are you willing to do that?

These quests are only available before the Opening of the Gates of Ahn 'Qiraj.

Theoretically these quests are meant to help the Alliance by contributing to the efforts in the ""Ahn'Qiraj War.""

All the ""Ahn'Qiraj War"" quests require you to provide trade goods (such as cloth and fish etc.) to NPCs in Ironforge.

After the Gates have been opened these quests are no longer available in your Realm. In most realms that were created before The Burning Crusade Expansion it is likely that the gates have already been opened and these quests are no longer available.

None of the Alliance Needs quests exist anymore I talked to a GM they said the only ones there leaving in the game are the signet quests so the people that haven't turned em in yet can still turn them in

Removed when the War Effort was completed. This was involved in the server-wide questline to open the gates of Ahn'Qiraj. Currently, all new servers now begin with the gates pre-opened, so even on new servers you will no longer see this quest. And soon, with Cataclysm, you will no longer see the raid zone Ahn'Qiraj. It will have been de-instanced.
