Yes it is repeatable and thus does not count towards quest-related achievements.

For those crazy enough to want to complete the quest anyway, here's some advice: when doing the tactical quests, keep in mind that field duty is repeatable. Try getting all the elemental templar quests at one time before doing them unless you have a scroll of beckoning for the appropriate templar, otherwise farming the cultist trappings will take up most of your farming time. Otherwise keep doing the scout report quests.

For the combat tasks, prioritise killing the neutral mobs (e.g hive'regal burrowers) as they're more sparse than any other. For example in a catacomb with 2 each of each of the hostile mobs and one of the neutral ones, ignoring the hostile mobs completely probably wont make the quest any longer: also, even for agents of nozdormu, don't bother looting the mobs. Wait until 80 to do it and set aside quite a lot of farming time. I've got 2 healing specs and it usually takes me an hour per dossier.

I haven't gotten to farming the logistics badges but I've heard they're the hardest to do. I'd recommend befriending people with crafting professions that have a tonne of Vanilla recipes. One can also repeatedly do Field Duty until one has about 10 dossiers and then grab mats from the AH or farm them until all are ready to hand them all in.

Why would you have to be crazy? Just because each combat badge requires you to kill 30 guys and you have to get a buttload of obsolete crafted items? But it gives a WHOLE 75 rep!

And that rep is really worth it too - since you have to already be exalted to complete this quest.

These do not count towards Loremaster of Kalimdor, but if you want to go about doing them, it's pretty easy. You will take the field report to 50,69 and talk to the guy standing at the edge of the ""city"". Once he's called over his posse, you will have to wait a horribly long time for the creature to spawn. I mean, seriously. Go get a drink of water, something to eat, and take a brisk walk. When the monster comes over the side of the mountain, simply kill him with the group, talk to the guy again, run back to the quest giver and repeat....44 more times.
