Description

I don't suppose Sputtervalve sent you? I'm in a bind here. I hopped in without realizing that I need a key to unlock the shredder's movement column. One of the other shredder operators asked me if everything was okay, and I panicked! Instead of telling him that I was missing my key, I told him there was some sort of mechanical problem.

We need to get out of here on the double! Go up to the control room at the top of the derrick, the supervisor should have a key for this shredder.

Help me out here!

Hmm... rotation control... This regulates speed and stability... fine arm movement control. Just look at this! I can't believe the Venture Company could design something this much better than ours. I've got to get this back to Ratchet!

Fairly straight forward. Go up the ramp of the big structure in the water. Be careful of roamers, there's 2-3 of them that go back and forth, so keep an eye out.

The key is on Supervisor Lugwizzle. He roams up and down the ramp and around a bit of the shore of the water. He even passes by Wizzlecrank, so if you're lucky, you can finish this quest fairly quickly.

when i went to turn in the quest, i did not find wizzlecrank at the same location i got the quest from, and when i went back i still did not find him.
can someone tell me where he might be?

To avoid him, follow him up the ramp without aggro, then stand around the barrels. Lugwizzle comes into the barrel area and you can easily pull him without Grills.
Grills, starting at the top, goes straight to the bottom of the ramp, then back up and into the barrel area, then to the top again.

I would not suggest doing this quest if you can't take on a few goblins at the same time. They are runners and it's heavily crowded there. On top of all that, the corpse run is abominable...

Without a doubt, one of these most annoying quests in the game. After fighting through all the way to get the key, then fighting all the way back down.....Blizzard decided to put an insane respawn on the quest giver after someone else does the quest...Simply a horrible design and implementation

This quest did not get reset with the Shattering, so if you have already done it, you won't be able to do it again, unlike so many others.

I was able to do the quest again as Horde after Cataclysm so it reset okay for me. I had the quest before Cata and now I see it again after Cata.

57.20, Supervisor Lugwizzle is now in the control panel on top of the tower in Sludge Fen
