The Stormwind Seasoning Herbs are kind of hard to find. If you head to Old Town from the Trade District but turn right before you cross the bridge you should see it.
Its at the very end of the lane. Loc 65, 60.

The lean wolf flank drops off the Black Ravagers and can be found just south of The Twilight Grove (The big circle area in the middle of the map).

The Stormwind Seasoning Herbs are purchased from Felicia Gump <Herbalism Supplier> in the Stormwind shop, Fragrant Flowers. Yes, thats inside the city of Stormwind. The loc of the shop is 65.6,60.0. For those who can't do locs, that's on the other side of the wall from the ramp to the griffin master, to the Northeast.

I suggest that you do ""wolves on our heels"" quest at the same time which also requires you to kill wolves (it's a level 21 or 22ish quest - gray for my last char that did it and he was 28) You can pick it up in the NW corner if Duskwood (not the town but the territory) On the Duskwood map it's at approx 7,34. If you are below lvl 22 or so I might recommend that you go to Ellwin forest and swim across the river to get there - the mobs there are lvl 20 and 21 but there are some nasties in between the town and there, especially if you run across that elite pat (I think his name is Morbid Bane or something like that) by the Ravenwood cemetary - not to mention ganking horde.

One quick note, the Flower Shop faces the Canal. If you turn left instead of right into the shop, be prepared to go swimming.

To clarify a bit for dummies like me...

Felicia Gump is in the Fragrant Flowers shop that is to the right of the closed off instance in SWC. The shop's sign is partially obscured by the tree. The spice packet costs just 19c at SW Honored.

Weird, going into a florist shop to buy a cooking spice, huh... :D

I've found the drop rate to be very lowfor this. I've killed about 10 so far and have got 1 wolf flank. This quest is very handy if you are a skinner as you can get loads of leather :)

I was just wondering whether this quest is newly added, as I never did that before! You know, I've raised up over 10 toons, all have been questing in Dusk woods, but never got that quest...
then seems it is my bad, i should have made my cooking skill high enough, and now, I got it finally :)

I looked up Lean Wolf Flank on here to see where it would drop from most, besides the black ravager wolves, and I saw that the black ravagers (young, regular, mastiff, etc) had around 54-58% drop rates. My ass. I must've killed and skinned around 50 or so before getting all 10 of them. Some of you may expect to be farming for quite a while.

By far the best place to get the flanks is from the Black ravager wolves. (Young Black Ravager, Black Ravager and Black Ravager Mastiff) the wolves you kill for the Wolves at our heels quest didn't drop a single flank for me. The Black Ravagers dropped about 1/3 or so. Seeing how I did this on a lvl 80 it's bound to take more time at the appropriate level but I'm certain the ravagers have the best drop-rate

Obsolete quest or not, you can still learn this recipe:
As of August 13, 2013...

If you want to learn to make Seasoned Wolf Kabobs, this recipe is sold (along with many other recipes) by the NPC named Kendor Kabonka who is located at (77, 53) on the balcony above the bar in the front room of the Pig & Whistle tavern (75, 55) on the eastern side of the Old District in Stormwind. As of this posting, the recipe costs 12 silvers and 80 coppers. Bring a gold or two and you can buy all 13 recipes to learn later as you level up cooking. Four of the other recipes cost the same as this and all the others are even less expensive, so it won't cost you much.
To get the Stormwind Seasonings needed for the recipe, leave the Pig & Whistle and follow the streets back towards the Trade Center, but turn left at (67, 65) immediately after crossing the bridge on which Leria Nightwind sits, and go down that street to the end to find the Fragrant Flowers shop at (70,71).

Inside, you can buy the Stormwind Seasonings from Felicia Gump who sells Herbalism Supplies at (69,71). A stack of 20 Stormwind Seasonings cost 3 silvers and 20 coppers as of the date of this posting. Be aware that the flowers she sells are NOT useable as herbs for any professions. They seem to be all purely decorative or maybe come into play during Love is in the Air festival during February. I'm sure more than a few people have hastily bought the wildflowers before noticing they weren't peaceblooms. :)

For players who haven't got any addons showing them map coordinates, each map window is mapped into an x,y coordinate system numbered with 1,1 at the upper left to 100,100 at the lower right. The x coordinate increases as you head from West to East, and the y coordinate increases as you head from North to South. So 50,50 will be in the center of your whatever map window you have displayed.

Side note: If you're doing the Kings Cider cooking daily in Stormwind, there is an apple tree directly across the way from the Fragrant Flowers shop.
