Alright guys for what I think is the real info:

If quest Savage Flora (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=9136 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=9136) is in fact repeatable then I highly recommend you all go to Un'goro Crater and on the west side (NorthWest my prefrence) and kill Bloodpetal Trappers for a nearly 50% drop of Savage Frond.

I will post again with my findings and completion upon this quest but for now just bear with me.

Its infact true and you can get the Savage frond from the Bloodpetal Trappers at a good rate. I got one per 3 kills just about. Good grinding xp but takes a lota time. Took me a few hours worth to get half the quest done for the blue items. Good luck to all.

Updating for Wotlk. If you're twinking at L59, you can drag your L80 DK (or any damage soaking high aoe dps tank) through Strat for quick farming of the crypt fiend parts. This also lends to the odd good BOE for your twink and all the runecloth you can handle (if you want faction mounts). Just run the back-half and reset. I like to pull whole squares and then flush them down with howling blast and DnD. Divine Storm and Consecrate works well too (sorry teddy bears and prot warrs, idk how fast they are to take down with whirlwind). Once your bags are full, death gate ( which is in EP - smile) and use the mailbox at LHC. You can park your twink there too if you want really fast xfer.

For the dark iron scraps, pulling the whole bar in BRD works for me, but the walk to reset is a pain.

This is definately faster than doing these marks by crafting.
