Description

The sabercat's fur is a distinctive gray color, blending into the surrounding forest. As she lays there, you observe that she is badly wounded, with deep lacerations across her back and stomach.

She raises her head and gazes at you, bright intelligence shining in blue eyes. She seems to wish to follow you.

Completion

Starts at 31.5,31.6, you'll need to clear a path through several casters(matriarch's which heal and have fairly good dps for their level), however you may have a bunch of windwitch's or fury's depending on which spawn.

Once you've done that, simply run back to Sentinel Arynia Cloudsbreak, it's not a standard escort as Mist follows you.

Lead to 38.34 take the west side east side when escorting wil avoid most of the mobs

For those who don't have coords, its in the little indent on your map where the mountains seperating Darnassus and Teldrassil meet the edge of the tree.

She follows you, and there are no special spawns, so you don't have to fight any mobs while on this quest if you're careful.

The quest is on a 10 minute timer, and unless you're preoccupied or lost, this really shouldn't take you 10 minutes. Return to the Moonwell where the Sentinel is at, and let the small event happen.

The timer continues to tick until you complete the quest and accept your reward.

anyone know if I've completed this quest will the cat then be seen from that point on at the turn in spot. I'm working on Loremaster and I'm not sure I've done this quest but Mist isnt at the spawn spot, it's at the quest giver. Not sure if mob is bugged or i'm supposed to see it where it is since maybe i did the quest years ago.

As a side note, this is one of the few escort quests I have done where the NPC follows YOU wherever you go and doesn't run off ahead of you drawing attention to itself.

This quest is still available, with zero prerequisites. I did it today (Feb 2012, patch 4.3) with ease. You just have to look out for him, he is sort of off in a corner.

This quests is pretty easy but be careful, it has a time limit of about 18 minutes or some such. If you are a higher level toon, do not 'mount' because the cat cannot always keep up.

If I were you, grab the other quests that are in that part of Teldrassil because the cat works like a hunter's pet in a way except that you cannot control it.

When you get back to the person that cat wants you to lead it it (one of the questgiverers equally as far from thenearby questgiving glowing tree and where the cat it behind some of the harpies) It does not automatically appear. It will show up and run to the NPC, a dialogue from the NPC will follow, and then you can turn the quest in.
