She will come assist you - sometimes. I made a macro that targeted her and then had a line that sawowhead:1,id:

/target Therylune
/cast [combat,help] Flash Heal; [help] Renew

The simple answer being that in combat I would heal her and if not I would do an instant renew. If I had not targeted her because I was on something else it would not cast.

The problem was that I could pull mobs right past her and if she walked on, she would aggro the next mob and ignore our fight, so I had to waste mana on quick kills. If I had known her path, I would have gone ahead to time the fights. This macro helped as I could run up and fix her. I cleared a lot but not enough. But this was my last quest in the zone.

On those cases where I managed to start a fight next to her, it worked perfectly. I would get aggro and she would help kill.

I did this as a lvl 16 priest, the easiest way to go about this quest is clear the mobs in the path that you have to walk, then accept the quest, it made my travel a lot easier, we found 1 mob then we were out of there. Also there is a rare that spawns next to her lvl 19 I believe. I failed the first time I did this quest because I had too much down time, she took about 10 minutes to reset
