Wrathtail Head (20)

Description

There is evil lurking on our northwestern coast, known as the Zoram Strand.

It is the resting place of the doomed city of Zoram, destroyed during the Sundering and submerged beneath the seas. It has been lost to the night elves for ages. Lost, and nearly forgotten.

Now, the naga have returned, and for what reason we do not know. But reason matters little; we must slay these fiends and throw them back to the depths!

Return to me when your mission is complete.

Reward

Also, you get: 11

Progress

We cannot allow the naga to invade our coasts, <name>. It is vital that you go to the Zoram Strand and complete your mission.

Completion

Very well done, <name>. Your actions in the Zoram Strand against the naga are commendable.

I know your feat was not easily accomplished, for the strength and guile of the naga is well known to the night elves. We know this, for we share a history with them.

It is a history I care not to repeat.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 145 experience (8 70 at max. level)
  • 250 Reputation with Darnassus

While killing Wrathtail Wave Riders and Sorceresses I got 20 Wrathtail Heads from 20 kills.
So, the drop rate is pretty high and it's quite easy to kill them as well.

Nice and easy quest and a fairly good reward. :)

The droprate is more like 100% and I think that is the only fair thing. Why should we accept nagas with no heads? Scary!

You can team this up with ""The Ancient Statuette"" (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=1007 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=1007) to save on time.

I have to say this quest was easyer then i thought, It had a 100% drop rate witch was good, Nicely spread out so you didn't have to worry about pulling more then one.

The drop rate is listed as less than 100% because these only drop when you're on the quest. So while it is a 100% drop while you're on the quest, the stats display tallies for all kills; it doesn't break things down like that.

It seems these naga are the ones which actualy HAVE body parts!

I had a taumatizing day in westfall....
Vultures with no meat the skinny bastards...
Murlocs with no eyes #_#
And goretusks which seemd to of destroyed their livers with short bastard swords of the whale.

Easy quest, nice exp, nice rep, funny (sorta). What more can a player want? XD

Edit: They are at the shore which is at the most western part of Ashenvale, for those that do not know.
