Description

The People's Militia has but one goal: To defend the lands of Westfall and return peace to our surroundings. Unfortunately, the price of peace is often blood.

One of my scouts has brought word of a band of Defias Trappers wreaking havoc nearby. I have reports of Defias Trapper sightings near the Jangolode Mine to the Northwest as well as at the Molsen Farm and Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm. If you seek to join our ranks, slay 15 Defias Trappers and 15 Defias Smugglers then return to me.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear, pledge. In order to prove your worth as a servant to The People's Militia and to the Light you need to slay 15 Defias Trappers and 15 Defias Smugglers then return to me when the deed is done.

These defias are located near the jangolode mine. Spawn frequently.

These are two places I did the quest:

The Molsen farm: 37, 38

There are bunch of these right north-west of Sentinel Hill, some at the camp a bit further to NW and even more and Jangolode mine. Few quick things about these:
  • Smugglers will use throwing weapons whenever they can, so ranged pulling is not so effect unless if you pull them and run far away of take advantage of Line of Sight blocking.
  • Trappers tend to use 5 seconds snare and backstab, so running away from them can be bit tricky.
Otherwise it should be piece of cake.

jangolode mine has alot of asssorted smugglers and trappers but beware pulling more than 2. usually singling defias out is easy but the mine is pretty hard to get 1 at a time.

I was doing this quest together with the red bandanas q last nite to get SW rep, but to my amazement i hit exalted with Darnassus and not Stormwind after finishing these two quests. I had both factions just a bit short of exalted and when cashing in these quests - ding - ""you are now exalted with Darnassus"" wtf :) Even though it showed I also received some SW rep.

Very odd, at least when these seem to only give SW, Exodar or Gnome rep according to wowhead? Still, I dont mind. I guess the spillover rep varies according to your race nowadays or theres some bug
