The Defias Brotherhood

Track down the Defias Messenger in Westfall and bring his message to Stoutmantle.
A Mysterious Message

Description

We need to discover the location of the Defias hideout. <name>, my scout reports that a Defias Messenger has been seen on the roads between Moonbrook, the Gold Coast Quarry and the Jangolode Mine. I want you to capture him. If he resists, kill him and bring me whatever he is carrying.

Completion

This is indeed firm proof that VanCleef is in charge. Now all we need to know is where the Defias gang is hiding out.

We've had a stroke of luck while you were gone. We captured a thief trying to steal Saldean's wagon. He has promised to lead us to the hideout in exchange for his life. I want you to defend the traitor so he can reveal the hideout. Return to me once you have uncovered the location.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 135 experience (8 10 at max. level)
  • 250 Reputation with Stormwind

The messenger travels from the Jangelode Mine (44, 25), goes into Gold Coast Quarry cave (30, 45) and then goes down to Moonbrook (43, 69)

You have to kill him to get the follow up quests from Sentinel Hill

I suggest to keep walking on the main road that goes from moonbrook to gold cost quarry. You'll find it surely, but it's a big hard and you need to be patient

I had to wait around for 30 mins to see him but I encountered him at five minutes before the hour heading into Moonbrook from Sentinel Hill. Just sit there and wait ti out and he will pass by you. He has no'?' to mark that it's him, but you will notice that he will not attack you as he passes. He attacks only after you hit him.

If using ingame location macro:

then the cordinates is:
[ Westfall ] (45.5, 66.0)
The messenger travels clockwise (left) around the main road... and if dies then respawns in 5 mins at moonbrook in the above cordinates.

I found him walking out of the Gold Coast Quarry :)
Also found him walking through Moonbrook
