Find Prate Cloudseer in Thousand Needles.

Description

The winds of Kalimdor rush to meet you and you shall be counted among some of our most powerful brothers. I am proud to see you have come this far and have such a promising future.

The element of air is a difficult one to control, but I have faith that your skills will overcome any obstacles that are placed in front of you.

Head to the very south of the Barrens, and enter Thousand Needles. It is there, far to the east, that you will find Prate Cloudseer. She will teach you more.

You will receive:
Air Totem
The following spell will be cast on you:
Swift Wind

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 245 experience (14 70 at max. level)

He can be found at 53.6:42.7 in Thousand Needles. There's a small path leading up the cliff to a small cave, there she is. Easy as that :-)

Call of Air is SO nice compared to the other element questlines, having you running all around barrens and silverpine forest. This one is just 1 simple ""go-to-random-npc"" quest.

Honestly, I'm a little let down knowing that in about nine levels, I won;t have to wander around the Azerothian globe, searching for little items before returning and learning I have to go an equally long distance to fill some other bag or acquire some other little bit of something I could probably get in a store.

... Wait, what am I talking about? THAT'S WONDERFUL NEWS!

Lol, long compared to the draenei's call of air. Horde have to go all the way to thousand needles while draenei just gotta walk to the top of their main city.. :S

once done with this quest don't forget to go do the quest called ""Relic of the Earthen Ring"" to get rid of the 4 totems in your bags. It combines your four basic totems into a single relic.

To be able to access this quest, you need to have all 4 totems in your bags. Banked totems won't let you get the quest from the NPCs

For Alliance: Bring your four totems to Farseer Eannu in Ironforge.

For Horde: Bring your four totems to Gotura Fourwinds in Orgrimmar.

This quest was removed in patch 4.0.1 along with a large amount of other class-specific quests.

So how am I suppose to complete Relic of the Earthen Ring quest for the relic slot item if the quest has been removed?
