The drop rate is actually excellent without starting the whole Princess Trapped quest line. I've taken two warriors through this Whirlwind quest line now and never had a problem with the drop rate.

The elementals you need to kill are around levels 38 - 39 so be prepared for them. Drop every 3 or so kills there are a lot of elementals at the various locations but you may find yourself sharing the areas due to people who farm them for their elemental drops (air, fire and water)

Although it says the minimum level for this quest is 36, this can still be done at level 30.

It's very wise to check your factions Auction House for the Charms if you're a warrior doing your class quest. It seems that the drop rate was nerfed and is now around 15-20% rather than the displayed 70-75%.

Figure it's only fair to warn you guys, the drop rate for these things is absolutely diabolical. I checked out the auction house as suggested, and saw four of each crest on buyout for 5 gold. Though that wouldn't break the bank, I thought, it'd be stupid to waste the money. By the time I had 8 Cresting Charm's I was on my way back to buy the rest.

It's something like 15% chance now (though it sure as hell doesn't feel like it), you're in for a long grind if you don't have the money or they aren't in the AH.

Co'ords are:

52, 50 for Thundering
66, 29 for Cresting
25, 30 for Burning

In Arathi Highlands.

As noots said you can check AH. They are not quest items,just normal drops that you can also farm with a higher character :)

After i got the 8charm of each .. what am i suppose to do to get the essence of exile ?..
