Locate Zzarc'Vul in the southern ogre mound in Duskwood and return his monocle to Viktori in Darkshire.

Description

Now there is just one more item needed to complete this device. Cog's blueprint calls for a lens of some sort. The only lens I know of that would be large enough will be very difficult to acquire.

There is an ogre by the name of Zzarc'Vul who resides in the mound in southern Duskwood. If you can, bring to me his monocle and I will use that as our lens!

found him at 38,79. He respawns diferent places so al the coordinates here are right =)

Ok, I did like this, I went to the cave 34,78 in Duskwood (map: https://vanillawowdb.com/?maps=10:345780 https://vanillawowdb.com/?maps=10:345780).
Then when I got in the cave I turned left in first turn, then right, and then I just walked stright a head (no turns) and founded him in a little room. Zzarc'Vul level 30 non elite with a level 29 Splinter Fist Warrior non elite mob beside him. Zzarc'Vul will drop Ogre's Monocle (quest item).

Very easy quest to do with a level 29 Hunter with Boar pet.

The quest ends in Darkshire, Viktori Prism'Antras, cords 80,48.

If you don't want to fight through all the ogres to the cave, you can go south a bit along the road to Stranglethorn Vale until you are horizontal with the cave coordinates (any of the above). Then just head over the mountain/hills until you see the cave entrance. I only had to kill one or two ogres to get inside the cave. :)

Found him at exactly 36,80. He stands next to a different mob, he didn't seem to move, so it seems like this is where he spawned. Watch out for the second mob, or it might be a little tough. He looks like every other mob btw.

Solo'd with a lvl 27 pala, pretty easy if you know how to pull and kill one and one

Lvl 27 warrior, done him and his fella together. You can get some ideas how tough they are by killing some of the other level 30 ogres in the cave.
The mob for me was not a First Warrior, but a Splinter First Firemonger - a little easier to kill.

37,78 is good. I had no problem soloing this as a 31 Pally. There are no elites in the cave, and you can pull one at a time until you reach him, then you will have 2 to fight. If you have a healing potiion or spell, you will be golden.

I do not feel the reward is fitting for the quest length though.

Easily done with 26 lvl hunter.
Followed Roshata way (look his comment, 5th one), cleared the enterance of the cave, then in the cave took left corridor, omitting the dead end. Said Zzarc'Vul was in the center of the biggest room.
I got to wait a few minutes because some party group killed Zzarc'Vul before I could reach him and I've had to wait until he had respawned. Being little bored, I've cleared all the cave mobs.
When carefully pulling them one by one - absolutely no problems.

This quest was very easily done as a 31 fury warrior. The mobs are spread apart quite a bit so you can pull them one by one (body pulling too). If you're a rogue, I'm sure you can garrote/ambush/cheap shot them where ever they are standing.

The warrior type ogres have a battle shout that increases their attack power so they will hit a bit harder. The fire dudes cast a buff upon themselves that do fire damage to ""nearby"" attackers every three seconds. Not a big problem.

Zzarc'vul can't be pulled alone - one more will come with him. You can CC the add easily or just focus fire.

well,u cant pull Zzarc alone,but u can pull the mob standing next to him,and then face him alone.Just did it today

Am I the only one who seriously thinks it's a little weird that an ogre has a monocle? Ogri'la proved they can be smart ( with some help ), but can they be GENTLEMEN, AS WELL?

I was doing this quest using my level 28 lock and I sent my Eye of Killrogg in to get a look at where I was going. I found Zzarc'Vul at 36,83 just like it says above. But by the time I got into the cave he was dead. When he rezzed he was at 36, 81. So he definitely has different spawn points.
