Description

You might have noticed some larger worgen wandering around with the Shadow Weavers in the woods? From what we can tell, these Dark Runners make up the bulk of the worgen numbers.

On my rangings, I've also noticed that they have overrun the Rotting Orchard southwest of town. These worgen are a bit tougher than the last you faced.

You performed well against the Dark Runners, <name>. But it seems as though their numbers are inexhaustible. Every time we make progress, more spring up to refill their ranks.

What is the evil power that draws them here? Why have they come to disturb our unhappy realm...

I will put my faith in Master Carevin. No doubt he will get to the bottom of the problem.

The quest text says to find the worgens in the Rotting Orchard southwest of town, but I could only find Nightbane Dark Runners in the bush across the road from the Orchard at around 65,55

Tip for preists:

The easiest way to solo two mobs is to mind control one and make it hit the other one and then one gets to about 1 health and the other one's on half health so then there easier to kill

There are a whole load of Nightbane Dark Runners at 61,40 living in and around a small camp consisting of 2 huts. You can get all 12 in one go.

Yes, there are plenty. The problem is they huddle together in the camps. Sort of impossible to grab one at a time, unfortunately.

Around 64, 50 in brightwood grove there is a camp that should have about 8 dark runners in it. But it's a big camp and if you know your pulls, the most you'll ever have to take on is 2. I did it as a level 27 frost mage quite easily.

I must say, this is a great quest for skinners, as the worgen are, in fact, skinnable. :D
