The Super Egg-O-Matic is the latest of Curgle Cranklehop's inventions. It is quite an impressive piece of machinery.

The Super Egg-O-Matic sputters wildly as you approach the control panel.

Completion

You place the hippogryph egg into the machine. A series of beeps follows along with some strange mechanical sounds.

It appears that the Eggometer has weighed, measured, and packaged your egg. Now that's speedy service!

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 420 experience (25 20 at max. level)

Welp, I'm on Horde-side. I had the necessary egg in my inventory. I went to Gadgetzan and clicked on the Egg-o-Matic machine near the teleporter. It gave me the egg crate and 4200 experience just fine, so not sure what is 'disabled'.

Interestingly, it's a Thunder Bluff 250 rep quest (which means 63 rep for the other 3 factions) for the first turn-in.

The Egg crate, when opened, give one of four different types of eggs.

When I turned in my first Hippogryph egg today, in addition to giving me some exp, it also gave me 250 Thunder Bluff rep. I was currently at level 59 for this turn in, and I got a fine egg for my troubles.

The exp and rep listed is correct, for the first egg. All additional eggs just gives the box of ""whatever"" and 10 rep points.

I just turned the egg in on my lvl 43 rogue so the requirement lvl of 45 for this quest is incorrect

seems to be a hastle at first but the reward is about 6000xp although u can only get one glyph egg at a time which is a pain

There is no reputation listed on this quest. I did it for the first time today (70 priest), I'm exalted with all of the horde except Silvermoon City, and I received 62 Silvermoon rep.

I would just add, the quests above count towards the ""Loremaster of Kalimdor"" achievement total score.

At L70 I received ""250 Thunderbluff Rep"" plus 36 silver and a further 10 with Darkspear Trolls when giving the egg to the gnome (with a box of 3 scrolls). I will experiment further when I have more eggs.

Was sure I edited this again...

The FIRST turn in counts as +1 loremaster, subsequent ones do not give another credit, but I did get 10 troll rep for the 2nd egg.

This quest does count towards Loremaster of Kalimdor the first time you do it, but all of the times afterwards that you do it do not count (I have not tried doing it again, but most repeated quests don't count)

The requirement is lvl 42, jusat got to lvl 42 in gadgetzan and it popped right up...

As far as this quest counting towards loremaster, it seems my number of quests completed towards the achievement did not change.
