Goblin Transponder

Description

As long as you have the transponder in your possession, all you need to do is step on the pad and you'll be teleported to Gnomeregan.

You may experience some unusual side effects, but none of those should be permanent... anymore.

I almost forgot the most important part - getting back. When you're ready to come back, just step on the transpolyporter pad in Gnomeregan!

Now to calibrate the transponder to your size and weight.

All done! When you're ready, just step on the pad.

You do not need to keep the Goblin Transponder in your inventory (or bank). You can simply discard it after transporting to Gnomeregan. To get another one, simply speak to Scooty again and tell him that you lost the first one.

WARNING: I just had a GM confirm that this quest (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7728 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7728 ) is the one that BUGS the Gnomeregan teleporter quest line!!!!

If you complete STOLEN: Smithing Tuyere and Lookout's Spyglass before you complete Chief Engineer Scooty (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2842 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2842 ), you can NOT pick up that quest anymore, and you will NOT be able to get your Goblin Transponder (https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=9173 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=9173 ) to teleport to Gnomeregan.

Reminder: Chief Engineer Scooty is obtainable after you talk to Nogg next to Sovik and accept Rig Wars (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2841 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2841 ).

The GM escalated my ticket to a Character Specialist, said it will take 3-5 days for him to respond. Currently waiting for the response.

I talked with a GM today and he said to me that they are still working on that... But he also said to pick the https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2841 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2841 and then he gave the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=9173 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=9173 to me :P

Just to mention that if u don't have done the https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7728 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7728 u will get the quest with no problems.
