Ormer Ironbraid at the Whelgar Excavation Site wants you to kill 10 Mottled Screechers and 10 Mottled Raptors.

Description

The situation is severe, that much is for sure. When we uncovered these bones it attracted the Raptors. These filthy beasts killed my brethren and trapped me, Merrin and the poor Prospector up here.

Help clear the Wetlands of these Raptors, <name>. Mottled Raptors and Mottled Screechers are just West of the bluff there. Kill 10 of each, if you can.

That will be a good start to the vengeance I have planned for them.

Progress

Kill 10 Mottled Raptors and 10 Mottled Screechers, <name>. My co-workers did not deserve the fate that was brought upon them. It's time to even the score.

Completion

Killing is a dirty business, but you did your job well, <name>. If I weren't obligated to stay with the Prospector and Merrin, I'd be down there shedding blood right along side you.

you will find the raptors here at 29, 46. the easiest way i got there was after i accepted the quest, looking out from the cave, head west(left) and climb and fall
from the wooden planks then you will see some raptors, you can fight them(they are in the mid 20's) and just keep staying to the west side until you get closer to the coordinates. side note, the raptors that you have to kill for this quest are in the lvl 24 range.

The screechers are in large groups in the swamp so you have to pull them. Also, try to get them away from other raptors because at 1/2 health they will screech for help.

a bunch of Screechers at 23,55. Smaller pods between the excavation and there.

Yeah, pull the screechers. As a hunter, I'd stay my pet, sneak up, set a trap and then fire into one of them then back track past my trap and spring my pet.

Totally easy as long as you don't let your pet go first. If you do, it'll turn into a mob and you'll be fighting 3-4 Screechers and another Raptor for good measure.

I didn't find the screechers or raptors where indicated above. Instead I found them west at 30,45 (right above the E in ""excavation"" on the map). They were under a tree. Maybe its a different location for a different patch?

Good spot right out side of Whelgar's Excavation Site,
NW of it,just outside by the tree..
There is about 5 of each type and if you venture West there is
quite a few more..
