Description

We are still at war and the Scarlet Crusade grows in strength. The report Executor Arren sent me indicates Scarlet Crusaders have been raiding from the ruined tower in southeastern Tirisfal near the Balnir Farmstead under the command of Captain Vachon.

Kill Vachon along with 5 Scarlet Friars. It should prove to be a devastating blow to the Crusade!

Progress

I see you have returned but your task is not complete. Perhaps you are at ease with the mere humans interfering with The Dark Lady's plan? Or perhaps you can heed the call of duty and slay Captain Vachon and his band of Scarlet Friars!

Completion

Captain Vachon's death will slow down the Scarlet Crusade's advancement in Tirisfal quite a bit. But other threats loom.

Captain Vachon is inside a tower called Crusader Outpost, which is located at cords 78,56.

The scarlet Friars are scattered throughout this area.

This isn't bad at all... even if you are a lower level, u can do it well if you take ur time and lure the ""Zealot's"" out so u don't get stuck with additional aggro's. Be patient though... the first time u enter the tower there is only a zealot... once you kill him/her run back outside of the tower and wait a moment... then the Captain will appear back inside, careful though because he will have a guard with him.

be adviced the captain has a friar with him which can be a HUGE pain in the ass, especially for a lvl 11 rogue. if you kill the friar you wont have enough hp to kill the captain. if you focus on the captain the friar will heal him. my strategy is to sap the friar get the captain down as much as possible, burn a health pot and when the friar wakes up and starts to heal the captain, gouge him and finish the captain off. dont bother killing the friar as you get credit for killing the captain as soon as the death blow is delievered. hope this helped my fellow rogues

This was rough for a Priest.

I had left over sleeping sand from another quest. I doused the Capt., then fought off the friar. Make sure to keep the DoT shadow word pain up at all times. The Capt woke up just as the friar died and my priest ran out of mana. I switched to wands, and put pain on the Capt as soon as enough mana came back. I also healed whenever possible. My priest managed to survive.
