Get back on the road and ride north until you are east of the Ruins of Ravenwind. You should find Miblon Snarltooth left of the road infront of some small temple with no roof at (44, 10). Place the bait on the floor infront of Miblon, the door behind him will open, quickly go and loot an Evoroot.

I happened to stumble upon the Gnoll that you need to distract for this quest and the temple,before I got this quest line,and I was able to walk inside and grab the evoroot unhindered,this may have been a glitch,but I would suggest further studies and trying it out

Just a few minutes ago I came across this and saw the Evoroot inside. You can easily get in by mounting, jumping at the corner to the right of the gnoll, and when you get stuck about way up the wall, dismount and jump up on the wall.

Easy with a mount didn't even have to jump but once. Its not like its hard to do without jumping in, just pay 20s for bait and put it at his feet, he doesn't fight you or anything.

hehe funny quest, u can also go from the back and corner jump in theres a low spot. Made it first jump, very easy.

Buy the Bait (https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11141 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11141) from Gregan Brewspewer.
Then travel to Miblon Snarltooth at 44,10. Dropping the bait opens the door. Walk inside, grab the Evoroot and you're done.
No need to climb walls.

For those who aren't aware, this quest is based on the original Legend of Zelda game, where you could buy an item called 'meat'. You would place it on the ground and it would act as a lure for all the monsters in the area, making them all move to the meat instead of attacking you. It even looked very similar to the icon of the Bait. Just another Zelda reference they stuck in this chain.

If you jump on the small ledge on the north side of the enclosure, you can easily work your way through the debris and into the middle to grab the evoroot.

I didn't even have the quest at the time- I was on my way to speak to Gregan, from the lady in winterspring.

it is in the list of quests for Un'Goro Crater because it is part of a quest line that starts and ends in Un'Goro.

Since I came across this strange little temple with the grumbling gnoll at the front, I had to find out what was inside and what, if anything, these evorroot things were for that I could see inside! I took a route no one had mentioned yet. I was on my priest, and took a running leap from the hill that the road is on and cast slow fall when I was at the peak of my mounted jump's arc, nicely sailing into the broken corner that provides a lower wall height for us nosy people. Priests, if you want to know whats in there, then perform this trick! Easy and fun, and reminiscent of the giant omelet quest (think it was called ""I must have them"", 'them' referering to the giant eggs) where you can get the slow fall trampoline buff and perform a mounted jump right into mama hawk's nest from the hill behind ir. =]

I have to say as of now, You do not need to lure the gnoll away if you have a 100% speed land mount. Simply go to the back of the wall, go onto the ledge of the ruins and face the tree(back left corner of the ruins the evoroot is in). Run and turn into the little crack/crevice in the wall. Took me a couple of times to get the turn right but it worked.

This is a side quest you need to do to get the item needed for https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3909 the other quest of the same name. That quest is part of the long ""Linken"" chain that begins in Un'Goro Crater.

Yet another clever Zelda reference. This scenario comes from the first Legend of Zelda game. In it, you are to give bait to an NPC who only makes the noise, ""grumble, grumble"". After you give him the bait he allows you to pass. Im glad the creators of this game know and give tribute to their roots.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I forgot the bait, so I decided to try and jump the wall. As I was jumping around on my mount, I jumped right through the doors in front of Miblon.
