Description

Plants give life to Felwood, yet even they suffer the taint of corruption. I know ways to cleanse them, but I cannot give out such knowledge to those I don't know or trust. Prove to me that you will truly aid the cause of the Cenarion Circle!

To the north lie the Irontree Caverns. The Warpwood elementals present there are now beyond hope of cleansing. I ask you to bring me their sap - blood amber it is called - so I may study it in the hopes of saving other forms of life here.

Progress

I know Felwood suffers, <name> - I suffer along with it! I must remain steadfast in my conviction; were the knowledge I possess to fall into the wrong hands, it would spell disaster for all of Felwood.

Bring to me the blood amber drawn from the slain Warpwood elementals, and I will trust you enough to help me enact a means to fight the corruption.

Completion

This blood amber will be used to find a means of defeating the corruption present in Felwood. You've proven to me that you're willing to do whatever it takes for the Cenarion Circle. I trust you now, friend.

It might seem odd that killing the elementals proved yourself to me, but the end of saving countless sentient beings must justify the means we take. You and I can now focus on the preservation of life through the salves I can make.

No one posed the cords of the cave, so you can find the entrance at 56,17

Mobs are around 53-55. 100% Drop. Rare mob around the area as well. 56 Elite Dessecus.

This quest leads to the ""Salve Via ..."" quests. https://vanillawowdb.com/?search=salve+via https://vanillawowdb.com/?search=salve+via which allow you to use various methods (tradeskills or killing mobs) to gather corrupted soul shards. You then use these repeatable quests (You get 4200xp the first time only for each method you can use) to make salves which you then can use on plants that spawn in various places of Felwood to get one of the following:
-A buff for +70 crit rating +70 spell crit rating and +15 all stats.

NOTE: If you are trying to gather shards by killing mobs or gathering you must get a lantern from Maybess and keep it in your inventory. Shards will only drop in Felwood and only when you are carrying the lantern.

100% droprate, enter to the cave is 56, 17

Very easy soloable as 54 BM hunter.

very easy quest, did it as a lvl 50 BM hunter, cave is at 56.18 and mobs aren't close together, so anyone can do this as long as they dont run around too much, just watch out for the entangling roots they do, its quite anoying if it hits you. if you dont like caves, you can get 6-7 just outside the cave, normal respawn rate.

Like it was said before, this quest leads to 3 quests depending on your profetions, salve via hunting( you have to ask for a lantern looking item from her then go kill mobs and get 6 corrupted soul shards) (salve via enchanting, which will cost you a lesser nether essence)( salve via skinning, which i wasnt able to do since i didnt have skinning).

the completion of any of these quests( which are repeatable) will reward you with 2 cenarion plant salve. you need to take these salves to a corupted flower in felwood( there are a multitude of flowers to do it on, i do not know the effect for different flowers) i did it on a corrupted songflower and recieved a buff with +70 crit rating +70 spell hit rating and +15 all atributes for a whole hour. Quite helpful for grinding and questing.

These NPCs have a fast respawn, so expect to fight your way back out.
