Salve via Hunting

Progress

Possessing a Cenarion Beacon allows one to sea a corrupted soul shard on those tainted beasts that are put down for the greater good. I grind shards into a usable reagent that goes into making Cenarion plant salve. We will use that salve to turn corrupted plants into healthy ones again.

In exchange for these shards, I will give you some Cenarion plant salves I have already prepared.

Very well then, here are your Cenarion plant salves. Scour Felwood for corrupted plants, <name>! Wherever they are, use the salve I have given you to purify them.

Be sure you have the beacon before you leave or you won't be able to get the shards.

Ok so I thought this quest was kind of pointless, but after actually finding a corrupt flower, and giving it the salve, then you will get a buff called Songflower Serenade. It increases crit strike rating and spell crit strike rating by 70 and all attributes by 15. Kinda nice after all! And it lasts for 60 minutes.

These quests are most commonly used for creating libram enchants for twinks. Librams like https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11734 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11734 for example gives you: +125 Armor to head or leg slot without a required item level, these enchants are pre-bc. Note it's not as simple as acquiring the libram of...* materials are needed in exchange for the final libram, i.e: enchant itself. You will also need to supply these items to a BE npc north of burning stepps. Sorry if this seems confusing but to someone twinking or about to it will make some sense. You will need to look into this further yourself as an entire explanation would take up too much space, time and only be more confusing.

I can confirm that this initial quest (not the repeatable ones afterwards) does count towards ""Loremaster of Kalimdor"".
