As a lvl 53 Rogue, this was very very easily solo-able. Still had over 75% when finished with the big boy.

63.17 - U'cha

If you dont have time or if you just are lacy ,you can just run to the end of the cave, die , and then ress behind him, close to the wall. No agro from other gorillas. then simply run out again

Rewards 8150xp as of 2.3

No longer has a rare around him, just a normal stomper.

As of 2.3, the rare albino is still there, along with one of the normal thunderers. So, as a 52 feral druid I ""suicided"" on the rare (thinking if i went the normal one and failed he'd just respawn). End up getting the rare down before I died from the 3 of them pounding me. When I shifted out to heal I was stunned by the clever ape.

Went back and had an easy mode fight with just u'cha and the thunderer. At 52, was able to stealth my way in past all the apes, and all the way back out again with 3/3 feral instincts talent.

The previously quoted post-2.3 xp reward is correct.

When you enter the cave follow it right past A-me-01. follow it around, you'll end up at U'cha.

Long version: I did this as a level 53 Balance Druid. (with 13 points in Restro for Intensity) I used War Stomp, a Superior Healing Potion, Barkskin, Hibernate, healing spells, and, of course, damage spells. I needed all of this because the rare mob https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=6585 Uhk'loc was there. Uhk'loc has a nasty interrupt/minor knockback spell called https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=10966 Uppercut. I stealthed in to U'cha/Uhk'loc (which was quite hard) and stood at the back wall in the ring of water. U'cha walked over and attacked me along with Uhk'loc. I attempted hibernated Uhk'loc and if you can CC Uhk'loc because it will use Uppercut A LOT. Uhk'loc uppercut my first Hibernate so I was getting pounded on (the two apes do a lot of damage) and I popped a health pot after my second Hibernation worked. I easily killed U'cha, but popped my https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=10455 Chained Essence of Eranikus when he was at about 6% and let my dots kill U'cha and focused on Uhk'loc. My health was lowish and the uppercuts were annoying so I needed to heal. I got out of Moonkin form and got uppercut right before I used Barkskin. I thought I had it on but my heals were getting interrupted so I used War Stomp then Barkskin again. Healed up, killed the mob (and got a nice caster belt to sell), and stealthed out the cave. Tough fight if they got the rare mob otherwise it should be easy.

Short version: I found a rare mob who interrupts a lot. CC'd the rare mob killed the main mob quickly. Attacked the rare mob but had to heal, so I used a bit of cooldowns to prevent interruption. Looted corpse then got out.
