Slay Highlord Omokk, War Master Voone, and Overlord Wyrmthalak. Recover Important Blackrock Documents. Return to Warlord Goretooth in Kargath when the mission has been accomplished.

Description

By order of Warlord Goretooth, the following inhabitants of Blackrock Spire must be destroyed:

The rotund menace, Highlord Omokk.

The cruel and ruthless troll, War Master Voone.

Overlord Wyrmthalak, taskmaster of the lesser city.

You will also be required to return any important documents that you may find.

Succeed and be honored.

Fail and be forgotten.

This is the beginning of the Onyxia Key quest for horde.

To begin this quest first complete the chat dialogue with Warlord Goretooth, he will then put the item ""Warlord Goretooth's Command"" in your invintory and you click that to start the quest chain.

The ""Important Blackrock Documents"" will randomly spawn behind one of the three quest mobs for this quest. It will be labeled as ""Inconspicuous Documents"".

If anyone is having troubles finding the guy for this quest in Kargath. He is one of the guys in the tower in Kargath. He is the one to the furthest left without an Exclamation Point. After you are done going through the dialogue he will give you a letter. After reading the letter it will give you this quest. That's all, good luck with your Onyxia quest!

Did this with my alt just now, and we found the documents at the summonable ogre boss, not any of the quest mobs.

I went back as a level 70 Feral Druid to do this for the Mark of Tyranny.

I finished it, I recommend using stealth to get around and using Bear Form for every boss.

~15k armor
~12k health

War Master Voone uses a ""Throw"" skill which hurts, a lot.
Highlord Omokk comes with 2 adds, if you focus on them first (healer first, then mage) it won't be a problem. I used Mangle and Swipe.
Overlord Wyrmthalak was easy. I stealthed past everything in his room to him, and engaged. When he called adds they came right to me without grabbing any additional pulls. I killed Wyrmthalak first and then killed his two adds. Be careful for their enrage, pop a dodge trinket if you have one. Swipe and Mangle were also used here.

Horde players are still able to complete the quest chain to obtain their Onyxia Key, however, Alliance players are not as fortunate with the removal of https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=4183 The True Masters.

This is no longer true with its removal in 4.0.1

This part of the quest chain counts for Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms. Most of the follow-up quests though count for Loremaster of Kalimdor since they are part of Onyxia's key and therefore most of them are located in kalimdor.

Did they remove this quest chain as of 4.0.1? My priest was 1/2 way through the chain, and the quests disappeared when 4.0.1 dropped.

I can confirm that this quest has been taken out of the game as of patch 4.0.1 from a chat with GM Risuchama on Terenas EU realm

With this quest chain gone and the Moira Bronzebeard quest chain in Blackrock Depths gone with patch 4.0.1, Loremaster of Kalimdor is pretty tough to complete. I'm at 564/685 atm and running low on quests already :( By looking at my EveryQuest I suspect being about 10-15 quests short &gt;.&lt; (I'm Horde btw)
