I'll tell you what, <name>. If you give me those unfired gauntlets, I will teach you how to make a set all your own. All you need to do is collect the parts for me so that I may narrow down the exact recipe.

Was previously bugged.

I'm guessing that this quest is only available to blacksmiths as the required https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=12812 Unfired Plate Gauntlets can only be looted by a blacksmith

https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5103 Hot Fiery Death was originally started at https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=176090 Human Remains next to the https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=176089 Unfired Plate Gauntlets in LBRS. After taking the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=12812 Unfired Plate Gauntlets to https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=10637 Malyfous Darkhammer in Everlook, Winterspring, he would ask you to gather some materials (quest=5124"">this quest) before giving you the item=12699"">Plans.

Post-shattering, that https://vanillawowdb.com/?object=176089 object is still lootable by blacksmiths, but there's really no point, because that https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=12812 item was only used in this quest, which is no longer obtainable. Sadly, this means that for collectors, the plans for https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=12631 Fiery Plate Gauntlets are extinct, as well. (And they were BoP, so don't go scanning the AH for them either - just /cry and move on.)

The quest has been removed, but you can still pick up the Unfired Plate Gauntlets.
They are simply trash, and cannot even be vendored.
