Description

I, the great Bartolo, shall make for you the world famous, Alliance renowned, Yeti Fur Cloak!

Travel the planet and find yourself a better cloak, I dare you. Oh wait, what is that, little <race>? "Bartolo, there is no finer cloak!" Yes, yes! That, I have heard before.

Bartolo requires a Bolt of Wool, a Hillman's Cloak made by a skilled leatherworker, Fine Thread and Yeti Fur, of course! Bring to me these items and you shall be a happy customer!

So you have returned to the great Bartolo. Perhaps you have finished gathering the materials needed for your Yeti Fur Cloak? Or maybe you just enjoy basking in the greatness of me, Bartolo!

Completion

Now it is time for the great Bartolo to work his magic! I require no wizard's staff, no <class>'s rod. For I, the great Bartolo, work magic with a mere needle and thread!

The yetis are the highest level mobs out in Hillsbrad.. I suggest 30+

Coordinates are 46/32 for the entrance of the cave. Yetis are lvls 30-31 with some 32. I soloed with my lvl 32 shammie.
Great quest for skinners, you get to skin the yetis!

The drop rate is okay, just watch out for other Horde going into the cave where
the Yeti's are.

Also, if there are too many Horde in the cave, head upwards past the cave
into the Alterac Mountains where the there are white Yetis; they also drop
the Fur but they're higher level so just be careful.
The other stuff you need for the quest are easy to get but the Cloak maybe a little tricky.

Honestly, I didn't really think this quest was that great since I had a better cloak before I did the quest. I did it anyway for the experience...

This was the perfect quest for a leatherworker since I had almost all the supplies already. My lvl 36 rogue took out the white yeti in the mountains, easy as pie since they were 33-35 anyway.

This seemed like a very easy quest, I completed it with a level 29 rogue. The Yeti are far enough apart that you don't get more than 1 attacking you at once.

Sometimes if you have an item before you get the quest it won't count it towards the quest. This has happened to me a number of times. You just have to go back out and more of it.

Question: If you are not a leather worker, do you have to buy the cloak? or does it drop from somewhere? Thanks

With the introduction of the random dungeon finder tool, and the abundance of cloaks found in the satchels of helpful goods, you'll almost never find this reward anywhere near useful.

Even more pointless now that armour stats have been raised, there are many a finer cloak..the ones we already had!
