Description

The situation in Raven Hill is still grim. The safety of Darkshire is in your hands, <name>. I don't have enough Watchers to keep the town safe. We need you to dispatch for Raven Hill yet again and rid the eastern mausoleum of 20 Plague Spreaders!

This quest ammo pouch or quiver is the best available for the lvl 29 bracket BG's.

The quest is actually obtainable at level 19, offering the best ammo pouch or quiver available to level 19 twinks.

To get this with the least experience gain possible, do as follows: group with a highlevel, go to the spot where the quest mobs are, die. Run back to your corpse, but don't rez. Instead, follow the high level around while he kills the quest targets. You'll still get kill credit, but no experience. When you're done with one step, rez, drop the group (so you don't accidentally gain XP when your bodyguard kills stuff to protect you) and follow the high level to Darkshire for handin. Just make sure you can manage 6.000 XP without leveling to 20 :)

The spawn rate on these guys is pretty quick, maybe a minute or two. Be cautious if you venture down into the tomb, because if you run out after completion be prepared for a fight to the top.

If you happen to have the Totem of Infliction quest (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=101 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=101) you can make killing these things a bit easier. Kill all of the ones surrounding the tomb, and maybe a few right inside the entrance. Run back out and kill the surrounding mobs for the Ghoul Fang item you need for that other quest. As the Plague Spreaders pop back up, kill them!

Keeps the XP flowing and you out of danger. ;D

Also be careful for the level 30 Elite wandering about in the Raven Hill Cemetery. Don't even bother killing him (except for xp) because he drops nothing (of value).

just for reference the co-ordinates for the tomb are 23,35 and spawn rate is good on this quest so don't go too far into the tomb :)

The Quiver and Ammo Pouch is the only kind for that level range, Horde doesn't get one

if you decided to quest at wetlands like i did and still want the ammo pouch/quiver, just go to the area where the objectives spawn and say /target (objective name). youll target the nearest one and you can kill it. after, just press enter, alt+up arrow, if you dont wanna make a macro. you can also do this for any other quest that you need to kill something and you wanna target them faster. It should be noted that the ammo bags no longer provide 11% range attack speed on equip. I made sure by removing the bag, then re equipped it and my ranged attack speed remained the same.

Looks like they changed the tooltip to reflect these changes.

I did this quest as a 28 Hunter. As stated above, there are additional mobs bellow the graves in the catacombs. Be advised, the Brain Eaters (seemingly randomly) cast a nasty Mp5 debuff. Other than that, quest really didn't take long at all considering you need to kill twenty of them.

Might as well grab the quiver or bandolier with 4.0.1 since they are just bags now.
