The Dunemaul Compound

Andi Lynn in Gadgetzan wants you to destroy the Dunemaul Compound by killing 10 Dunemaul Brutes, 10 Dunemaul Enforcers, and Gor'marok the Ravager.
  •
Dunemaul Brute slain (10)
  •
Dunemaul Enforcer slain (10)
  •
Gor'marok the Ravager slain

Description

Just recently, a large band of nomadic ogres arrived in Tanaris. South of here, they have taken over a large area of the desert and formed a compound. Several smaller bands are currently wandering the desert, some of which have invaded the old troll ruins.

The Dunemaul Compound must be destroyed! We cannot allow these ogres to build up a force.

The leader of this band is named Gor'marok the Ravager; I believe that putting an end to his leadership will be the beginning of the end for the ogres.

Gor'marok the Ravager is about 41,57 in Tanaris
the Dunemaul Brute and Dunemaul Enforcer are all around 40, 52 in Tanaris.

For those who dont use cords, Almsot due south of sandsorrow watch (and a little bit to the east)

This area is also a good grinding area for level 47. The Dunemaul guys don't seem to agro each other very easily, so it is a good place to solo and just take them out one at a time. They mostly drop Mageweave and money. The boss is not an elite, so he can be soloed as well.

Possible one of the easiest quests I have ever done. I was pulling 2-3 of them every time and coming out on top easily as a lvl 50 hunter.

This is a very easy quest, I thought I was going to get mauled by 5 at once due to their closeness but their aggro radius is TINY. Seriously, you I was breathing down the back of the guy next to him and still only drew one.

There is no better place to farm for mageweave in the game than here, usually you get around 2-3 per kill.

Very easy quest to solo. These guys pull easily one at a time, and are very beatable. Just start working your way around the perimeter until you reach the cave, Ravager will not come at you, so take a break, buff and kill him. He is not extremely hard.

The reward for this quest is better than some higher level quest, and you get some decent drops on the way.

Coords 41,51 roughly, but you can not miss it.

https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3161 Gahz'ridian or how ever it's spelled, is a nice go along quest with this. There are a few of the things you're looking for in this area.

Also, if there are quite a few people farming these, or trying to complete this quest, you can head south a bit to the ruins there. That is a fairly unpopulated area to do both quests, with the exception of Gor'marok.

Very easy quest.. The mobs are NOT together so you can pull them easy and kill them one by one
Position of quest : Around 41.56 at Kalimdor, Tanaris

the enforcers are just outside the cave where gor'marok is ...about 6 of them. the other 4 you need you will find next to the brutes. there are groups of two... usually brute+enforcer but they do not aggro so easily so you can pull them 1 at a time. not a hard quest. doable as a 45 fire mage.

For those without coords, Gar'mok is in the cave at the southeast end of the compound. The brutes and enforcers can be found all around camp. The respawn rate is fairly quick and there are some pats, mage lords and normal ogres, (one of the mage-lords almost killed me) so just watch your back.

Completed as level 47 Protection Paladin, easy quest. As stated previously, these guys have a very tiny aggro radius. The only exception I found was the pair of ogres to the left of the entrance to the cave. I aggored one but both of them came and while I was fighting them a Warlock Ogre started casting shadow spells at me from behind. Otherwise, this was the only instance in which I had to take on more than one mob at a time.

As for Gor'marok, he's in the cave by himself. He's wielding this ridiculously huge (spade?) type of weapon that is longer than he is tall. If you are Prot Paladin, keep your Holy Shield up with him. When he gets low on health he starts hitting fast. With me he hit 5 really quick blows in rapid succession but I blocked all of them and inflicted 540 Holy Damage because of it. Luck? I dunno.

Is there a prerequisite to this quest? My lvl53 Warlock was in Gadgetzan to turn in a quest today, and the quest giver didn't have this quest. The Warlock hasn't done it earlier, so I was wondering...

Confirmed as to no loss of Bloodsail Bucc rep. Gained 275 with Gadgetzan and 137/138 with the other 3 at level 80 and at 3 points into unfriendly.

On a side note, she was the only ""green"" NPC to me at this rep level.

Very easy quest, as a well-geared Pally at level 48 ( they are from 45 to 48 level orges) and I manage to be able to pull 5 at a time and take them down without any serious damages, but of course, depends if you're well geared or not.

But yeah, easy as cake.
