The note reads, in fairly good handwriting:

To any that can aid me-

Please, my need for help is dire. A great Skymane holds me captive on an island in the South Seas.

The stars at night are foreign to me and obscured by the jungle trees, but on the clearest days I see Wild Shore to the northwest, and what seem to be large sailing ships to the southwest.

I beg of you, my would-be savior, please help me.

This does NOT require LVL45, my toon was LVL43 and completed it, even tho the random drop quest item from the bottles was flagged as requires LVL45 I was able to click on it and start the quest. see the screenshot.

quest is grey at level 51, not 52 as shown in the quick facts.

Talk to Princess Poobah, and it leads to a second part of the quest, where you kill The skymane gorilla, King Mukla https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=1559 , who I found at, 40, 82.

This quest took me 17 bottles to get the note, it can be a pain in the ass but its worth it, Nice xp and good item.

u have to be a lvl 42 to start the quest. once u get the quest u have to go ""jagero island"" which is the biggest island in stranglethorn (its to the south) . when u get there u the author is a big tauren chick at <38,80> .

Jaguero Isle USED to be full of level 50's until the 2.3 Patch where it was nerfed to easy low 40s. No need to worry anymore about those.

This Quest and it's follow up are extremley easy, did Soloed on my 42 Hunter without breaking a sweat

This Quest is no longer removed, You can find bottles along the coast and accept the quest.

I also love how the goal of this quest is to slaughter cats and gorillas when i could probably just break her shackles with my axe and have her jump in my 2 person mount to get away.
