Maggran at Sun Rock Retreat wishes you to slay Bloodfury Ripper and bring her remains as proof of your deed.
Bloodfury Ripper's Remains

Description

Limiting the number of Bloodfury Harpies will not be enough. The only true cure for their disease would be to slay their leader, Bloodfury Ripper!

She is all but a queen to those filthy creatures. Slay her and their numbers will surely diminish.

Go back into the Charred Vale and you will find her along the western hills. She will not be easy to vanquish, but the reward will be great.

Progress

Bloodfury Ripper is a nasty creature! You will have success finding her along the western hill line in the Charred Vale.

The bloodfuries will be helpless with out... surely we can vanquish them forever!

Completion

Already I feel the anger leave me. What will I do with my time? Knowing evil moves near my land kept my thoughts moving, though now they are silent. Perhaps this is a good thing... maybe now I can focus on the good, as all Tauren should.

Please accept this as a reward for your troubles.

Upon completion of quests, get:

Clear around her before you engage her, did it as a lvl 25 Shadopriest easy. Just watch out for adds!

Took me a good four times to do it, but I was able to solo as a 25 feral druid. Just use roots as a break to get away from her hits and heal yourself. (Make sure to be full on mana when you start the fight, you will want to be able to get into bear form multiple times to tank her.)

easy quest... solo as a 26 shaman.

very easy as 28 Rogue. killed one harpy to make a gap and then hit the Ripper with an arrow. Backed up and she followed me out into a clear area and then took her out very easily - she hardly put any damage on me.

Easy to solo for a Protection Paladin. Follow the coordinates stated in previous posts. You'll find her in the middle of a group of other harpies. I just simply ran in gungho and attacked her. She went down relatively easy and I only aggroed two adds. One attacked me after I had already killed the Ripper, took her down easy; the second attacked me when I was looting a chest that had spawned between two trees next to the group of harpies. Took her down easy and moved on.

EDIT - For miners, there are quite a few mithrel and silver deposits around the area.

Did it as a 24 frost mage, easy, didnt even clear up her entourage :) Just kept frosting her she didnt even touch me haha

Im pretty sure it happened in 3.1 but shes not elite anymore, 750 health. I did it as a 25 druid and she never touched me.

I solo-ed it as a 25 BM hunter with a lv. 25 pet. Kill things around her or wait until she floats away from the group. If you don't have the co-ord app, she's in the Northwest part of Charred Vale surrounded by Harpies and others of that kind.

Very easy as a level 25 ele shammy! Actually, a bit too easy for my taste. Only took 4-5 hits for her to die.
