Description

I see a lot of young dwarves at my door, eager to learn the trade of mining. And if there's one thing a miner needs more than anything, it's a pick!

I have a list of mining students who scored high in their lessons and earned an honorary pick. Take my list to Golnir Bouldertoe in Ironforge. He'll get the picks ready.

The fastest way to Ironforge is on a gryphon, so bring the list to our gryphon master, Thorgrum Borrelson, and speak with him about transport to Ironforge.

Have you had your fill of Thelsamar so soon? Are you ready to leave for another city?

Completion

You have to get this to Ironforge, eh? For a small fee I can put you on the back of one of my gryphons, and it'll take you there. How does that sound?

I guess it stands to reason that if you already completed your own faction's version of this quest you wouldn't be able to do another faction's version.

Would be nice to get another 475 gnomer rep for completing this chain though :)

Seems this quest has been changed to be the dwarf/gnome travel to ironforge chain, similar to the chain available for other races in their starting zones. You can only do one chain like this, based on your race, and not any of the others.

apparently the quest is back in Patch 4.1 (Rise of the Zandalari). I saw Gremlock the chef at Kharanos give this quest again while I was round Kharanos collecting eggs during Noblegarden.

I can confirm what Tuvock said. Odd that nobody noticed this guy is a cooking trainer, saying hes going to give his students honorary cleavers. Yet if you read the note, and later quest text it says he is giving them mining picks. Dwarves must cook weird.

I don't understand how can this be a quest added in patch 1.11.1 when Brolan Galebeard was added in 4.03. I'm playing 1.12.1 vanilla WoW and I can't take this quest from Gremlock Pilsnor.
