The Broken Sigil

Retrieve the 5 Sigil Fragments from the defenders in Stromgarde, and bring them to Tor'gan in Hammerfall.

Description

Thoras Trollbane's tomb is protected by three sigils--the first of which you retrieved from the Syndicate. The other two will be harder to get, as they're held by the firmly entrenched Stromgarde militia.

The sigil of Thoradin was divided into five pieces by Thoras' son, Galen, and dispersed among the Stromgarde defenders. Retrieve the pieces and bring them to Tor'gan, the troll shaman, he will be able to bind them into the complete sigil.

Ah, you need me to reconstruct this sigil? It shouldn't be too difficult... all the pieces seem to be here and the magical structure will be easy to reform.

Returning this will allow you to get the quest ""Sigil of Thoradin"" (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=641 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=641). It involves a lot of running back and forth between Stromgarde and Hammerfall. Setting your Hearthstone to Hammerfall will save you one trip.

Syndicates don't drop these. You need to kill the Stormgarde npcs, go into Stormgarde and make a right, theres a lot of em, just be careful, its Alliance town and you might have trouble if you're on a PVP server :P

Enter, turn right, go straight into the Stormgarde Defenders. Kill and loot.

Vindicators seemed to have the best drop rate, most of them gave me 3 per kill while the troll hunters did not drop any for me and were annoying with the self-heal and long sleep spell.

The Sigil was divided into eleven pieces. Go get five of them and have that shaman glue it together. That'll work. We're cool.

not just the defenders drop the sigils, the troll hunters also dropped it for me. in fact, one defender dropped 4 sigils at once, then the troll hunter dropped 3 sigils..

Enter Stormgarde and go right, they dropped in about 5 mobs for me. Easy quest.

Now you have to go back to Stromgarde and take your first right when you enter. You should see the defenders. And as for the droprate. Its about 400%. I killed 2 of them and got 4 Sigil's so it should take less then a minute.

Just soloed this quest and must have killed about 2 dozen before I finally had a 3-drop and a 4-drop.

""The Broken quest"" more like, killed the two first Stromgarde Defenders standing at the entrance and got 8x Fragments, heh.

The drop-rate on this is ridiculous. I only killed 3 people [2 defenders and a troll hunter] and 2 dropped on the first defender, and 4 on the second. The quest took me a grand total of 2 minutes at the most.

I killed 2 troll hunters and got all 5 from them ... 3 from one and 2 from the other...

Go right after the entrance to strongarde and it is a little camp that is patrolled by an ogre, killing is optional.

i don't really call this a quest.

you walk 2 minutes, you fight a level 37 mob, 20 secs after the first one is dead, you fight another level 37 mob, which both are way 2 easy, then you walk 5 minutes back.
