Assault a graveyard, then return to Corporal Teeka Bloodsnarl in the Alterac Mountains.

Description

The battle lines of Alterac Valley are ever shifting. Territories swing back and forth as we meet our opponents in deadly combat. And graveyards, <name>, are where battles rage most fierce.

I want you to attack an Alliance held graveyard! Find a graveyard with an Alliance banner in its midst and pull it from the ground.

Do that and your task for me will be complete, but... if you hold the graveyard for a few minutes, then it will be ours and troops will come and relieve you.

The easiest way to complete this quest, if you're Horde, is to take Snowfall Graveyard. Your team will hate you and hurl every possible insult they can fathom, but it's the only GY that remains practically unguarded for the entirety of the game.

If you can handle 39 internet tough guys making fun of you, go for it. If not, do it the hard way.

One of several ""scaling"" quests which grants more exp as you level up, instead of less.

For example, most quests are red at one point, turn orange, yellow, green and then eventually gray as you outlevel it, and slowly decreasing the amount of exp you earn. This quest starts out yellow, and remains that color no matter what level you are. As such, it grants a gradually increasing amount of exp depending on what level you turn it in which is seemingly based on the amount of exp a ""typical"" yellow quest at that level would give.

I picked up this quest and https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7101 Towers and Bunkers today and received credit for both while running through the Field of Strife. I'm not sure if you need to be within a certain distance to get credit, but it is possible to get without assaulting the graveyard yourself.

For some bizarre reason, the XP rewarded from this and the other Alterac Valley Battleground quests was drastically reduced in patch 5.2.
