Incorrect spawn -

Actual spawn = 49.19

Killed him repeatedly at spawn for about 15mins collecting leather/kodo hide.

If he isnt there wait about 5-10mins and he will appear

An easy way to find Arra'chea is wait by the rock by Lorekeeper Rain totem southwest of the Red Rocks. Arra'chea walks past the rock a little while after it spawns. Note the rock has a pictures of animals on it, like a buffalo and a llama.

Waited at the spawn spot and he was there. He seems to do a circular route at first going north, so waiting between the rock mentioned and the spawn is not very effective. While waiting at the spawn encountered ""the rake""(https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=5807#drops https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=5807#drops) rare lion spawn and scored a sweet lowbie shammy/druid chest.

The spawn point 49, 19 is correct, awesome waiting spot literally took me 3 minutes to get him.

Also if you are a skinner, chill there and skin the Flatland Prowlers and Alpha Wolves there.

Along waiting the Ghost Wolf was there too, the level 12 Elite Wolf, maybe you can be lucky too and get a second quest from him, you kill him to loot the Demon Scarred Hide and right click to begin a quest.

Killed two birds with one stone. Good luck.

I did not find him at the respawn spot after waiting for 15 minutes. I went to the Lorekeeper Rain totem southwest of the Red Rocks and he was there within 3 minutes. Took him as a lvl 12 shaman after him killing me once. I would suggest waiting til lvl 13-14 before doing this.

Level 12 Tauren Druid success on 1 try. Bear form, FTW :)

Now, for something more constructive, if you aren't the patient type, take a look at the map for https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=3058 Arra'chea. From what I've seen, Arra'chea follows a counter-clockwise path. Using a program that can do waypoints (I used TomTom), set a north point, a south point, a west point and an east point using coordinates from the map. Then go from point to point in a clockwise direction until you meet him. Clockwise for you, because then you should be moving to meet him, not trying to play catch up, so should run into him a bit quicker.

I know, most people may be content to wait :)

Yeah I found him pretty easy soloed as level 10 drood, just entangling roots, wrath when we broke off entangling roots and then hit him with entangling roots again and so on pretty easy!

Killed easily as a level 10 druid using the method scythist mentioned. I went to the rock near Lorekeeper Raintotem, literally saw him the second I got there. I'd recommend waiting at that spot -- it seems to be pretty effective (more so than waiting at the respawn point).

Note: In the quest objectives tracking for this quest, once you have the horn it tells you to ""Return to Cairne Bloodhoof at The Golden Plains in Mulgore."" When he's really in Thunder Bluff and nowhere in the quest text is ""The Golden Plains"" mentioned. O_o

He walks from 49, 19 (his spawn point) to 56,29 to 50, 24 then back to his spawn point. I walked in a counter-clockwise direction and found him almost right away.

I found him just a little north of his spawn spot three times. Takes a few minutes for him to respawn.

I initially worked my way clockwise (turning to my left from the chasm by hunters rise to short cut through to spawn site) and went towards the site for ancestral spirit and raintotem then to the rock with animals. Bad idea. As soon as you see a kodo matriarch, she and calves generally go clockwise up between rock and rise of mountains, go COUNTER CLOCKWISE to spawn site. I had to do it at least once before I found him. As a tauren druid make sure you have mark of the wild on, and use wrath/entangling roots back to back. I got hit a couple times but nothing a lil healing touch couldn't solve. be aware to get him out in the open, i had a buzzard bug me >.<

Use his spawn site on your map, raintotem, the rock just south with the animal pictures as guide points and make a circle.

Been waiting mostly at the spawn point for about 45 minutes . . . nothing . . . tried travelling back and forth between that and the rock near Raintotem . . .NOTHING. Grrr@this quest!

Edit: Logged out at the spawn point, came back 15 minutes later and there were two of him -_-

Unlike the lead-up quests (which are Tauren-only), this one is available to all Horde. It also counts towards Loremaster of Kalimdor.
