I'm so happy Jubjub is no longer lost. She loves Dark Iron ale so much that when I ran out... she ran away to find more!

Now that Jubjub's back, I want as much ale as I can get! I won't want her to run away again!

Do you have any Dark Iron Ale? If you do, then I'll trade you one of Jubjub's frog eggs for a mug...

In order for Morja to offer the quest, you need to throw down a Dark Iron Ale mug near her. Her jubling will come hopping to it, then she'll offer this quest. The Unhatched Jubling egg you get has an initial cooldown of 7 days.

Technically, you only need 1 mug of ale, if you're lucky and show up when someone else has recently done the quest. You can just turn in your mug and recieve the egg.
Or, if you and a buddy want a Jubling, go to Morja at the same time. If you do it right, then you only need 3 mugs. Throw down the ale, wait, and then accept the quest and turn in your second mug, and then your buddy only has to turn in one mug.
Easy. :)

I know the name JubJub comes from ""Jabberwocky,"" but I wonder if the original writer of this quest had the Simpsons in mind instead. Jubjub is the name of Patty and Selma's pet iguana.

When I did the quest last night, it took at least thirty seconds for Jubjub to return to the Orc woman and find the ale. I noticed that he hops all around the area, so it might speed things along if you pay attention to where he is at the moment and drop your ale at her feet when he is closest.

I brought a friend along to get a pet as well, and he almost missed his opportunity. She doesn't remain a questgiver very long, so make sure you and anyone else who wants one clicks on her as soon as the blue question mark appears.

For those trying to complete their pet collection who used to have a Jubling but have since lost it, don't worry! This quest is repeatable and you can get a new Jubling for 2 Dark Iron Ales and a 7 day wait!

Even if you don't see him hopping around be patient; I didn't see him at all, my mug eventually despawned. I threw another one and right as I threw it Jubjub finally hopped out.

I just tried to do this quest and I had 5 Dark Iron Ale with me and I placed 2 on the ground at Morja's Feet and never saw Jubjub. So I started to look around for Jubjub and finally noticed him hoping around on the grass very far from Morja. So what I did was just lure him closer and closer with a few Dark Iron Ale until I could use my last one at the feet of Morja but then I lacked 1 for the hand-in after so I had to go buy more and repeat :)

If you see Jubjub very far from Morja you might want to get some extra Ale's and lure him over to her a short distance at a time.

If you already have a Jubling and are helping others with this quest, dismiss your pet. Your Jubling, like the Oozling, will lap up the bait ale, and Jubjub won't come for it.

If you toss a brew at the spot where jubjub is, then all you are doing is wasting a drink. The drink needs to be tossed at the feet of the NPC, *BUT* only of jubjub is in range. So stand beside the NPC and do a /tar jub and make sure he is nearby, and then drop the brew. If you do a /tar jub and you can't target the mob, then he is too far away. Wait for him to wander closer and try again. Once you drop the brew you will see him slowly hop over to it.

By the way, you only have up to 60 seconds for someone else to do the quest on the same brew. So if you will be relogging different characters, you can probably only get 1 or 2 others at most, and that's stretching it. I wouldn't depend on getting more than one other char the quest if you have to log out and in. Better to bring extra mugs if you really have to have it.

Don't know if this quest has changed or not...but I loaded up 3 of the brews and headed out to the faire tonight. Found the lovely Morja the orc, but did not see the frog anywhere. I searched all over the area and nothing.

SO, since I brought an extra ale, i ""tossed"" it down in front of Morja, and then did a quick lap to see if I could find the frog. Well, out from all the way across the faire, Jubjub comes hoping over to her and ""drinks"" the beer. She then gets a blue question mark, I accept and subsequently turn in quest for my unhatched frog egg.

I never had to toss near the frog, since he wasn't even visable to me until i set down the first mug. Hope this helps, and you should only need 2 mugs since you can just set it down in front of Morja and he'll come to you. Pet # 132!

As of 4.3 PTR this is the steps to get jubjub

Morja stands near the first aid daily.

Step 1 click on her to talk to her. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS STEP JUBJUB WILL NOT COME.

her chat text says something to the effect of ""Ive lost my jubjub he's probably wondering around looking for darkiron ale.""

Then her scripted text (the white text in your chat box) will say something like ""Jubjub where have you gone""

Step 2 place a darkiorn ale mug at her feet. Their by luring jubjub out of hiding. Be patient it takes him a bit he is small but eventually his hoppy self hops over to her and drinks the ale.

Step 3 She then gives you a quest ""Jubjub likes this ale alot perhaps i should try some"" And so you place another mug at her feet for her and the quest reward is a jubjub egg that will hatch in 7 days.

note the quoted text is paraphrasing, but you get the gist. Good Luck!

Confirming this quest is still available at the new Darkmoon Faire Island. Morja is located behind the caravans that are next to the Tauren chef (questgiver). And yes, it still works the same as it did before - One Dark Iron Ale at her feet, one more to complete the quest.

With the new changes this has changed slightly.

Once upon a time you had 2 https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11325"" class=""qundefined icontiny"" style=""background-image: url(images/icons/tiny/inv_drink_04.gif)"">Dark Iron Ale Mug (you needed one in your inventory and one to place at Morja's feet) and when you placed one ale at the feet of https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14871"">(NPC #14871), https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14867"">(NPC #14867) happily returns for a sip of the ale and the quest is finalized and if you had a mug left in your bags you would get an egg that would hatch and you have a new shiny pet.

Now that everything is on Darkmoon Island it's changed so very slightly.

This is now a lure game but first you have to open the quest. There is three ways https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7946"">(Quest #7946) gets unlocked.
  • When Morja says** ""Jubjub? Where are you, Jubjub? Oh no! Where did you go this time!"" place an ale at her feet and it'll unlock the quest (then you have to lure jubjub with a boozy trail of ale to Morja.)
  • If you do the above step and the mug disappears and no jubjub shows and Morja doesn't give you the quest you'll need to just go out and lure him to Morja's feet. Look for JubJub and then place a mug trail from him leading up to Morja. For whatever reason sometimes Morja plays nice and gives the quest, other times she doesn't, use this method for when she is playing hard to get with her quest.
  • Place a mug at Morja's feet and if you're lucky enough jubjub is close and will jump to the mug and the quest will be completed before it's even given (A yellow ? will appear instead of a !.)
**note** If you place a mug at Morja's feet before she announces jubjub is missing and jubjub is too far away nothing will happen.

Sometime people luck out and it only takes one mug, others it can take up to 10 mugs. You'll notice Jubjub loops around the forest, up near the cliff then down around the pen. You need to leave a trail of booze starting at jubjub and ending at Morja to finish this quest which rewards https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=19462"" class=""qundefined icontiny"" style=""background-image: url(images/icons/tiny/inv_egg_03.gif)"">Unhatched Jubling Egg. You can be patient and just wait for him to hop closer to Morja which will require less mugs.

I can confirm the following after having done it on 3 toons back to back to back.

You will need TWO Dark Iron Ales per quest. I experimented some, and this is what was true for me.

You stand by Morja and wait. Wait until she randomly /say's ""Jubjub? Where are you Jubjub? Oh no! Where did you fo this time!"" (talking to her apparently had no effect on her saying this, and appeared to be random)

Once she does that, place an ale at her feet, and wait about 15 seconds. You may see Jubjub appear far away and she will happily hop her way back to Morja. (All three times for me she appeared to the North along the railing of the game ring) You then wait for Morja to have the ""!"", talk to her, and hand her your other ale in exchange for the egg.

Guide to get it after the https://vanillawowdb.com/?event=374 Darkmoon Faire moved to the https://vanillawowdb.com/?zone=5861 Darkmoon Island:

Grab some https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11325 Dark Iron Ale Mug, you can buy from https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=9499 Plugger Spazzring (if you have a https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=37863 Direbrew's Remote, it'll take you right next to him). He only sell a limited supply of 10, I recommend you to buy all of them, since I used exactly 10 to do that. You can also buy it from the auction house.

Behind https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14871 Morja there is a small forest, look out for https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14867 Jubjub. After you find him, use the https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11325 Dark Iron Ale Mug to lure him back to https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14871 Morja. I used a mug every 10 yards (more or less). I'm not sure if he'll follow you if you place it further away. Place the last mug into https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=14871 Morja's feet.

After that, she'll provide you the quest https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=7946 Spawn of Jubjub. You'll need to give her one final https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=11325 Dark Iron Ale Mug to complete the quest, rewarding you with an https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=19462 Unhatched Jubling Egg. It has a 7 days cooldown, after that you can open it and receive https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=19450 A Jubling's Tiny Home (which finally teaches you how to summon https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=23811 Jubling).

As of 4.3.3, you just put one down next to Morja and WAIT. It takes several seconds for the frog to get over next to her from the far side of the pack animal ring. Put a target icon on Jubjub if you like; once the ale is down by his mistress' feet, you'll see the frog slowly hopping your way. It's the exact same as it used to be; you can just find Jubjub easier at the Darkmoon Faire island site than you could at the old outside-whatever-city locations.

So all you really need is 2 Dark Iron Ales. One to set near Morja to slowly lure Jubjub close enough to trigger the quest, and one to hand in for the quest and the egg.

Thanks to folks who posted it here - I was able to get the unhatched egg with just two mugs every time, 5 toons from one visit to BRD.

Does anyone know if the egg still hatches if you keep it in your bank, as opposed to in your bags?

So anyone who lost or fed the pet to the crocolisks in Dustwallow Marsh are advised to bribe Jubjub when the stomach acid has erased its memory.

The quest ! only appears over Morja, after the quest is completed...quite unintuitively. You must get at least 2 Dark Iron Ales from the pub inside Blackrock Deep. BRD. Place one next to Morja, then JubJub (a frog) will come running back to her. It takes a minute. When JubJub comes back, THEN the ! will appear over her head, and when you get the quest, she will give you an egg that will hatch in 7 days. When it hates, the quest is complete and you get the pet. This counts towards the pet achievements.

There is no indication of a quest beforehand. Morja is just standing there with no ! You have to know ahead of time. But it will work, I promise. If you are low level, you can get Dark Iron Ale from someone else, or the AH. It is not soulbound.

If someone else finds JubJub while you are standing next to Morja, then the ! will appear over her head, and you can give her the Dark Iron Ale and then get the egg for the pet. It will take 6 days to ""hatch"".

The Darkmoon Faire must be occurring, of course.

After reading all the ways to get this I attempted to get Jubjub today.

First I went to Morja to see if Jubjub was around here. I /tar Jub and could not locate him anywhere, after running all over the island and it being the last day and only having a few minutes left for the night I decided to throw an Ale at Morja's feet.

Well right after I did that I /tar Jub and low and behold he appears out of no where from the trees and picks up the ale.

Unknown if this is the exact way it is suppose to happen but this is what happened to me.

This quest cannot be repeated by the same toon, even after waiting for the next Darkmoon Faire event (some other posts here mention it is a yearly quest), but you can do the quest on an alt if you need another Jubjub companion. Jubjub cannot be ""caged"" thus, not tradable.
