Need for a Cure

Find Kor'ghan in Orgrimmar and get the Venomtail Antidote. Then bring the antidote to Rhinag near the northwestern border of Durotar.

<name>... your timing is perfect. I just hope I can compliment your haste as well.

I was careless while fighting a few of the venomtails nearby, and one of them stung me deeply. I can feel its poison weakening me even as we speak. At this rate, I got maybe an hour left to live. But I'll need your help if I'm to do so...

Kor'ghan in Orgrimmar knows how to make the antidote. Find him... and hurry, <name>. I won't be able to last much longer. He should be in the Cleft of Shadow.

The NPC that gives this quest is located outside of Org. He is in the middle of a rock formation. This is a simple quest, simply find the NPC in the Cleft of Shadow.

In previous patches you could complete the antidote quest after the timer had run out, then abandon and retake it. This is no longer possible as abandoning the quest destroys the antidote. I learnt this the hard way. I think it would however be possible to retake this quest after you have collected the mats but before you have the antidote. Then completing it before time runs out again.

Actually, the NPC that starts this quest isn't at the east of the Orgrimmar gates, but the to the West of them.

I wasted 5 minutes looking for him on the east side thanks to the comment here, when I should've been looking on the other side.

Located at 47.53 in the Cleft of Shadow.

He will be on the mini map as a ! as you need to get another quest from him.

As a lvl 10 Orc Warrior i found this quest a pain killing those scorpions is not a problem in it self just there poison attack is very unhelpful and if u pull more than 1 there poison stack up and as far as it goes with me i have no way 2 remove them on top of there melee damage, they killed me a few times over, so this quest can be a real pain to do and to make things worse the drop rate for me wasent to good either.

This NPC has moved from his old location, now that the rocks have been replaced by the Northrend zeppelin tower.

I can't seem to find the NPC located inside the Cleft of the Shadow, even with QuestHelper telling me it's in the barber shop and all. Either I'm blind, or it's a game problem.
