Description

Venomtails are some of the deadliest scorpids in Durotar. It was unwise for Rhinag to hunt them without having some of the antidote with him, but right now, chastising is the last thing he needs.

Bring me a few venomtail poison sacs from any of the venomtails near the entrance of Orgrimmar and I'll make an antidote for him.

Make haste, <name>. One of our own needs your help.

Very simple yet rewarding quest. Just kill the Venomtail Scorpids by the poisoned NPC in the rocks. Drop rate is surprisingly high.

Finishing this quest gives you no exp, rep or money. This is just a quest to get you the antidote for a quest called, 'Need for a Cure.'
This quest is also repeatable, just in case you lost the antidote.

Took me 10 kills to obtain all four Venomtail Poison Sac's So the droprate is good..

Before you can start this quest you must start this quest:

This quest is a part of the ""Need for a Cure"" quest
and you need to finish this quest to finish that one.

This Quest NPC (Kor'Ghan) is located in the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar (Opposite side of Wand Merchant &amp; Staff Merchant) in a tent there.

The ""Need for a Cure"" Quest NPC is located east of the Orgrimmar Gate in a stone formation there.

I must have been unlucky because i had to kill at least 10 of the little buggers before my first one even dropped.

Easiest way to complete quest. Pickup Need the cure from Rhinag. Then go get Finding the Antidote from Kor'Ghan. When you have the quest from Kor'Ghan, Abandon Need the Cure it will stop your timer and you can still get the venom sacs. When you have all your venom sac's just pick up Need the Cure from Rhinag and finish both quests.. Easy as pie. :)

Doesn't count towards loremaster of Kalimdor.

An interesting note: The yellow ""!"" reappeared over Kor'ghan's head with the same quest again as soon as I turned it the 1st time! I accepted but before killing scorpids again I turned the antidote to Rhinag (Which counted towards LoK) then gathered the venom sacs and turned ""Finding the Antidote"" again. This time it didn't count towards the archivement again however the ""!"" didn't show up.

They moved the quest giver from being hidden in the rocks, to a hut located at 42,15. I guess this was to make it easier to find him.
