This quest is a must for any hunter, warrior, and paladin retribution specced. The polearm is probably better then any pre-raid weapons you can get.
I have been using this polearm since level 51, and have had demonslaying, and fiery enchantments on it, no glow though, because it already has a blue glow.

Right now i am working on my grand marshal two hander, sword or mace probably. I am just going to ignore the unstoppable force, as the gm sword is a better upgrade from unstoppable force, then the unstoppable force is form the ice barbed spear.

About the other quest rewards, some hunters go for the crossbow, but the polearm is the most popular.
The wand would probably be a good upgrade from whatever you had from before, but thats one area im not too experienced in (yet)
The one hander would be a good weapon for holy spec paladin, druid or shaman, and mabye even priest, but there are better healer weapons at this level.

If u have getherd all quests for AV u just win one AV and then when u are leaving the quest to quest giver u just get a new one and then u finish it at the guy u got it from and u will be able to chose for one of thoese Items

you shuld probably consider not do this Quest and get the 2H sword from ZF och such.

The Quest for icebarb spear is a hard Quest for alliance becuse the alliance very rarely win, myself i played 13AV games before i could compleat this Quest (Battlegroup: misery)

If you failed to ever kill Drek'thar in the 51 - 60 level bracket and you do get to kill him at 70 then none of these items will be of any use since stuff in Outland is much better. Just pick up the Ice Barbed Spear and you'll get easy 6 gold.

This quest is like impossible to do on my realm/battlegroup.
Horde wins all bgs at low level, that sucks.

DPS only classes are limited to only 1 weapon. Hunters should go with the Polearm, as the Crossbow has strength on it, which is melee only.Even if hunters can't use str, that Crossbow will give them more of a dps boost than the polearm ever will. The sheer damage output of that crossbow more than makes up for the lack of stats.

Hunters, go with the Crossbow. Leave the spear to the melee classes.
