Description

Choose your deputies wisely, mortal. Each time you return with your task complete, a new deputy you will be allowed to choose.

With that said, I require more of the carapace fragments. Waste no time!

On servers where the gates are open, you no longer get this quest after becoming Neutral with the Brood.

Pleas do note, that this quest is ONLY doable as long as you have a reputation BELOW Neutral. As long as you turn in this quest and reach Neutral you can no longer do this.
I had calculated the amount of fragments I should get to reach max Neutral before I was to continue with the questline. As soon as I reach Neutral, the quest https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8303 Anachronos showed up. So now I have spent 1 hour of grinding to no use. So keep this in mind.

A relatively well geared Warrior (Paladin/DK/Druid I assume) tank can take the first 3 Obsidian Eradicators and the packs of Anubisath at the entrance to AQ40 pretty easily without taking much in the way of damage at all.
110 rep each, then reset and do them over again.
Much faster than this repeatable quest.

Edit: with cataclysm, most DPS, and certainly all plate wearing classes, will be able to solo these mobs very easily.
I'd imagine a 2/3 man group could get down the first boss with ease, though I haven't tried that.

It appears this quest is no longer in the game since the Shattering. I retained the quest items, but Baristolth no longer has anything to say.

I had a chat with a GM in the game and they confirmed that the quest chain has been removed from the game.
