Narain Soothfancy in Tanaris wants you to speak with Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan.

Description

If there is one thing that you should know about me, it is this: NEVER ask me about my business! I work with things you simply cannot understand. Like for example: Do you know what a psychotronic muzzledorf is? Of course you don't! And that's why we leave the planning to me and the fetching to you.

As I said earlier, if this is going to work, we're going to need a 500 pound chicken.

Head to Gadgetzan and speak with Dirge Quikcleave - he'll get you started on finding a suitable specimen.

<Dirge scratches his head.>

A 500 pound chicken? There's no such thing! Not anymore, at least. I knew of such a chicken... The Black Chicken of Death...

<Dirge's voice trails off.>

But yes, nobody ever saw that chicken and lived to tell the tale. I've got an idea that could benefit the both of us, kid.

That is because the quests Narain gives are part from the AQ questline.
noone will be able to get it if they do not have the head of broodlord for the quest Only one May Rise. and done the following quests on the chain.

Once the gates have been opened, it is still possible to get the Broodlord's head. It drops every kill and is a quest item lootable by anyone with the quest https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8288 Only One May Rise. You'll have to find a BWL run though, and it'd be smart to check before hand that you'll be allowed to roll on the head if the run is not in-guild.

No, you won't have to do the entire AQ quest line. But you will still have quite a bit of work to do. Basically, this is part of the blue shard quest line, so you can completely ignore the red and green shard quest lines.

Thought I'd point that out since I've been wondering and am at this point myself and can verify. Goblin-friendly players only. Time to repair the rep!

Just FYI if you've toasted your rep, the engineer mind control wont let you interact with Dirge to continue the scepter quest line. Tried it tonight (6 Nov 2010) and no go.
